20 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Libya]::P wel i would but i think some wont
20 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 2010: [China]:I am
20 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Europe]:Yes, this is going to drag on for a very long time otherwise.
20 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Ghana]:just get rid of libya and then draw
20 Jul 10 UTC Autumn, 2010: [Libya]::P
28 Jul 10 UTC Spring, 2013: [Kenya]:NO DRAW
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Europe]:The appeal of the game deteriorates when so many people leave, especially when one was as large as China. Now, it's not who played the best game or had the greatest strategy that is named the winner but who was fortunate enough to be placed near one of these defective players. If you have any sense of respect for the game and is not one who is so petty to want an easy win you will vote to draw this game.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I will vote for the draw but I can attest to the fact that US, Brazil and I have been jousting the whole game. If I were either US or Kenya I would not accept that argument as they have earned every point and position. I don't care about a measly point or two.Perhaps the mods should look at a default penalty on games left as a way to keep people involved. Why China quit I haven't a clue.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Brazil]:It has for sure changed the end of the game.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Frozen-Antarctica]:That's true
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [USA]:This is true for Brazil, but I would have overwhelmed you eventually anyway, it is just on the back burner for a while because of Chinas civil disorder.
Both you & Frozen-Antarctica have played exceedingly well to date & it has been a very enjoyable game for me so far despite the changed priorities.
I suppose it all depends on where you are & how well you are doing in the game?
I have played both Libya & Pacific-Russia twice each so far & I can not even get off the ground with either of them.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Kenya]:i am offended at what europe said because even though i may get 5-6 free centers i had to take over both South Africa and Libya (which europe couldnt do) which isnt easy for anyone to take over 2 people so dont say that if i do well it is because of near east and china leaving not me actually playing well
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Brazil]:US, it's true tha game has been very nice, with direct or indirect alliances et cetera. But, once one of the main countries leaves the game, the situation changes, since part of the other players cannot get the benefit of his exit. It's obvious that only you and Kenya can benefit from China's SCs.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Kenya]:kenya and the u.s dont start off very close to china but we expanded and made ourselves close and for that we deserve credit
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [USA]:I agree with Kenya we have worked hard to establish our positions & it has been good fun against good opposition.
As in all games you need a little luck & we have benifited the most from Chinas unfortunate descision to quit.
It does tilt the game somewhat but so does famine, disease & pestulence in real warfare. It is part of the game as is good fortune, the same as in life.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Who hasn't taken advantage of an enemy's abrupt departure. The scale is the only thing different. These two are where they are due to their play. (and luck). I bear no ill
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [USA]:Kind & wise words, thank you.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Europe]:I did not mean to marginalize anyone's game-play to date. It is true that this has been a very competitive and intense game with some well fought and well earned victories; the map reflects this. Furthermore, my argument is not to point out an unfair advantage gained from being near a country in civil disorder but to recall the the essence from which this game was created--to rely on one's own wit and strategy to win and not on chance (that is why no dice or cards appear in the game). To proceed with this game will only dilute the magnitude of the (solo, two-way draw etc...) victory.
02 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2014: [Kenya]:i have not worked with any of the current superpowers to take over africa or in my conquest of asia
03 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Libya]:no he just backstabbed his 2 allys but this is diplomacy thats the game.
03 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Kenya]:2??
03 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Kenya]:brasil is jealous that i have double the sc's then him
03 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I'm not sure what is going on although I'm afraid US will try to benefit. This map has lots of oppourtunities if in position to take them. I could be wrong but I think brazil believes you and US are allied somehow. Maybe a note to him can bring him to his senses.. If it wasn't for east pacific and china leaving I think brazil (and I) would be toast
04 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Kenya]:i told him that i wasnt planning to attack him
04 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Brazil]:Well, as both of you are not intending to draw, I'll also try to win the game.
04 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Kenya]:i will draw in a little while if i dont win
04 Aug 10 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Frozen-Antarctica]:I think the US wants it
10 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2016: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Wouild youi consider supporting me to thailand? I will in return help you to the three china centers. I am taking the pacific islands this turn. Alternately I can sup you to thai. Let me know
10 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2016: [Kenya]:not this turn maybe next turn
10 Aug 10 UTC Spring, 2016: [Frozen-Antarctica]:No prob
