15 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: England, please do not move forward with your fleet in Tyrrhenian
15 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: Yup will keep it there, don't want to cut any support or anything
15 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: Germany would you mind supporting Sweden into Gulf of Bothnia?
15 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: @England you got it
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: That was meant to be Kharkov... Egypt, I promise I'm not going for Iran.
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: I’m a kind soul, Russia, I’ll believe you meant to go to Kharkov, so I’ll support CRP -> Kharkov
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: Unless you don’t respond, Russia. Then I’ll give you nothing.
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: Germany, you have to get Auvergne now... and I’m moving out of Slovakia
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: Haha that's kind of a hike but I'll see what I can do
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: What else are you doing with the army in Brittany?
16 Jul 20 UTC Spring, 2001: My troops had just settled in for a good nights sleep
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Thank you for the offer Italy, I will take you up on that.
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Kiev is support CRP to Kharkov. Don’t expect many future kindnesses from me, Russia. Unless I feel kind in the future, then you should expect future kindnesses... I guess...
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Yup, not expecting any.
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Sorry to have held up last season, my wifi was out so I had submitted my orders over mobile, but didn't want to ready, hoping I could view my moves on desktop before the season progressed. Thanks for no one bitching at me :)
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Not sure we could tell who it was anyway
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Also they would've still gone through at the deadline even if you didn't ready.
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Ohhh I see what you're saying
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: @Italy, FYI I'm with you until the end
17 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: oh... hang on... did you just stab England?
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Germany?
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: England?
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: *starts hyperventilating*
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Ugh seriously Germany? So not building those armies was a calculated stab?
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: I thought we were all going to go nicely into the three-way draw sunset :(
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Also Germany, you telling Italy you are with them all the way doesn't mean much after you stab your one other long-term ally, and you are the only one really who has the armies in the right spots for a proper solo. Hoping I can renegotiate going back to draw.
Italy I'm still with you obviously
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Honestly, I'd be fine with a draw at this point even. Because this game (and all MMtM games) is Sum of Squares, draw size doesn't particularly matter... as such, I've submitted my draw vote. I know it's hidden and there's no way to know if I'm being truthful, but I don't think I've lied yet. Although I'm submitting my draw vote, that does not mean that I will move in a defensive turtle situation. I will continue to play this game until a victor emerges or all have voted to draw.
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Sum of squares does make the draw a bit easier. I would be happy to draw soon too. Egypt has done a great job protecting their own and Russia has somehow survived as well.
We shall see what Germany thinks
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: I’ll happily draw in the near future
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: ... after you've stabbed me as well?
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Egypt I have no more hostilities to you fyi, my Libya unit will just chill and enjoy the sites for now. Italy, fully on board with shoring up defenses and ensuring Germany doesn't go full rogue
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: I've put in my draw for what it's worth. I'm going to keep shoring up my borders so Italy doesn't push through but won't try to reclaim Libya if Italy is also down for drawing. Italy seemed to be courteous towards Russia so I assumed they are okay with it too if they can hold off Germany
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: I clearly have no intentions towards attacking Italy
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: I suppose this stab wasn't super necessary considering its SOS rather than DSS scoring, but it was too tempting to not attempt. My long term-goal was a 2-way draw between myself and Italy, but considering it's SOS I'll submit my draw vote if everyone else is doing the same.
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: England and I both said "soon", but @England are you voting for it now? If so, I will as well.
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: I voted for it, would love the extra SC back for those few points, but not too fussed about it. Happy to eliminate Ukraine first too, but I don't care
18 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: My draw vote is also in. Perhaps Ukraine will also and I'll get to keep St. Petersburg.
19 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Exactly my point, Germany. If this was DSS, I’d try to mend things between you and England. If not, I’d have to greatly consider what I was doing. But this is SOS, like most MMtM games, and so draw size matters very little.

Of course I’m willing to let Russia take Kharkov. One supply Center that I could retake down the road means very little to me haha
19 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Again, very sorry about delayed orders...
19 Jul 20 UTC Autumn, 2001: Looks like we're just waiting on Ukraine...
19 Jul 20 UTC Wow.
19 Jul 20 UTC Now, let's get honest. Germany, I would have worked with England against you after you stabbed him
19 Jul 20 UTC I see now I referenced MMtM... this is not a MMtM game. My apologies
19 Jul 20 UTC This was one of the most boring games I have been in !
19 Jul 20 UTC Haha, no I made this game based on the MMtM game though
19 Jul 20 UTC Very similar setup. I greatly enjoyed this game, surprised it ended so easily
19 Jul 20 UTC Yeah Italy I was hoping you would side with me but it became clear to me I would be outmatched, so I had to settle for the draw
19 Jul 20 UTC With complete honesty though, I truly had no plans on ever stabbing you. I was hoping we could share the world between our great nations.
19 Jul 20 UTC @Poland: I think it might've ended up being more interesting if you hadn't stabbed me. As soon as you did there became an obvious final 3, and it was all a matter of time. If you don't stab me, I run out of expansion space quickly and need to make a tough decision that probably ends up with a massive 2v2 battle. Probably myself and England against you and Italy.
19 Jul 20 UTC @Russia, they write us out of history so quickly. Just as we were on the cusp of our comeback.
