11 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Wake up Italy?
11 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Turkey, do you fancy taking over England?

Fair enough, it's not such an attractive prospect right now
11 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: I appear to have been resurrected. I have no idea how or why this has happened. I shall be postponing builds.
11 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1911: What's going on? Is England back?
11 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1911: No idea
11 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1911: I was hoping we'd speed it up.
12 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: I don't know what went on - I was kicked form the game, and then seemingly resurrecetd without my knowledge. I'm 'committing suicide' now - have moved to neutral spaces and shall not be moving from there. This game was weird from the start. I'm sorry I missed a few deadlines - I didin;t realsie I had been resurrected.
12 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: No worries - the game is effectively in the hold of the big fish for some years...
14 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
15 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
15 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: Going back to Austria, how many missed turns have we had this game?
15 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: It's definitely a record
15 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1911: Jah, and I vill now skip my go just to annoy you.
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1912: Ready at 9ish?
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1912: Ready whenever Germany, we can have a few quick fire rounds now that England is gone again if you like
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1912: It's my funeral and I can die if I want to, die if I want to,
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1912: lol
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1912: Seriously though, thanks for playing out the game, I feel it was all to humour me but I was getting tired of the calls for a draw as soon as anyone got a bit ahead. Pity we lost England along the way but I have someone else who will play when we start again who has played before and won't flake out straight away..
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1912: I really enjoyed it, but I really think we'll need to go Ancient Med next. Both France and England got cabin fever and probably won't be back.
16 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1912: I don't mind, we can try to get both games going but I agree, I don't think either will be back.
16 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1912: oh fishcakes. I presumed the fleet in Wales was Italian, ahahahhah
16 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1912: Ready!
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1912: I'm still lurking, keeping an eye here. When this wraps I'll be ready for the next one
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1912: Now that was a good convoy!
With our lurker and a newbie that still only makes 5, as our doctors are awol.
17 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1912: Madness, I should have taken far more, must pay better attention!
17 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1913: Turkey lurky, love it
18 Jun 20 UTC Autumn, 1913: Germany defeated in England 1914.
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1914: You fought a good fight Germany, thanks for humouring me
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1914: 17:17 stalemate pending?
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1914: That's the plan.

We all on for giving the Ancient Med a try after this so?
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1914: Ready for death and Ancient Med.
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1914: Cool beans
18 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1914: Looks like we could be here for a little while longer..
19 Jun 20 UTC Spring, 1915: Folks: firefox is password to the Ancient Med game:

21 Jun 20 UTC What a disheartening display of honesty and fairness.
21 Jun 20 UTC That alliance took too much work not to come out of it with a fair result
21 Jun 20 UTC That alliance took too much work not to come out of it with a fair result
21 Jun 20 UTC So true it was worth saying twice
21 Jun 20 UTC Looking forward to the Ancient Med game now. I've only played that map once, and lost horribly
22 Jun 20 UTC What I most enjoyed about this game was the weird difference the Austrian collapse made - (especially to us paranoid Germans, encircled everywhere). Myself and Italy were like Jam in a sandwich for the early game, so well done to them for extricating themselves and getting the jump on Turkey.

Ancient Med map reminds me of the start of the Hunger Games - very equally poised around the sea, which is probably hard to control but the key to winning? Or is it?
22 Jun 20 UTC Me again - I didn't intentionally crash out - I missed a deadline and was booted. I asked the moderator to let me in again, but then embarrassingly missed the following deadline again. I presumed it wasn't possible to rejoin - I think you can start back again after a lockout for a day or two, but didn't realise this - I presumed I had been permanently booted.

My mistake - ignorance regarding this particular diplomacy website. I do apologise for the civil disorder - as I said, I probably shouldn't have signed up to this game - I've been far too busy to commit the time to do so.

Many apologies & best wishes,

Steve
22 Jun 20 UTC Out of interest, why didn't you go for the solo? A stalemate line hadn't been reached!
22 Jun 20 UTC Yes - I was gobsmacked when 1.) the tide turned against the Juggernaught, despite the absence of Austria start to the game,
2.) Russia didn't mince me and grab the solo,
3.) Italy didn't grab the solo in last turn.
4.) Russia pressed 'draw' instead of driving through the Balkans in 1915.
Clearly I spend my whole time being gobsmacked. (or not enough)
22 Jun 20 UTC Because there's more than one way of playing the game
22 Jun 20 UTC Sometimes it's nice to be unpredictable ;)
02 Jul 20 UTC Whoever is Rome in the Ancient Med game, we are still paused and waiting for you! Can you get back in?
03 Jul 20 UTC Can't get back in, sorry - the system won;t let me
03 Jul 20 UTC Ah, good to hear from you! maybe if we unpause you might be let back in... Or we can start again
03 Jul 20 UTC Nope, the system has banned me from joining games for a month because I'm so unreliable.
03 Jul 20 UTC I'd suggest starting again - top be honest, I accidentally joined that game - clicked on a button in error while nosing around & couldn't back out. I'm not going to be any more reliable moving forward. I am sorry
