19 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings! I think the interface is pretty self-explanatory, but let me know if you have any questions.

For any game rules questions see this link: https://media.wizards.com/2015/downloads/ah/diplomacy_rules.pdf

Good luck everyone!
19 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Although Kaiser Won’thelm is stuck controlling the English, it is good to see FreshLenin at home in mother Russia.
19 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: One thing to note about the interface: you can enter your orders and save them. If you do that, everyone will see a gray check mark. If you click to ready your orders, everyone will see a green check mark. The phase will end and we will move to the next turn after 24 hours or once everyone has clicked the ready button, whichever happens first.

Don’t click ready unless you are sure your orders are final, because if you do, the game may advance while you are away.
19 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey Eric, played around with the interface and can’t figure out how to recruit new units. Is that because we can’t recruit till the end of the year? I’m a little hazy on that.
19 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Also I accidentally did the thing where I hit ‘ready’ instead of ‘save’. So if anyone wants anything from England this season sorry you’re SOL
19 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Colin, you can unready by clicking the button again.

There is a build phase at the end of each year. Depending on how many supply centers you have, you’ll be able to build/destroy units then. Remember, new units have to be placed in one of your original supply centers.
20 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: One other thing I should have mentioned earlier: since some of you know each other in real life and some of you don't, I think the best way to maintain a level playing field is to limit communication about the game to the website. If we are all communicating the same way, no one will get a leg up on anyone else.
20 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi everybody!
21 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Hey, so Red arrow = move/attack
Blue arrow = Support/convoy?
What is a yellow line? Retreat/bounce?
21 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Support a move, I believe
21 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: A bounce is a red arrow with an X
21 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: See Budapest for some creative bouncing
21 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Dave is correct.

Red line = advance
Yellow line = support
Blue line = convoy. (See Black Sea and Ionian Sea for convoys).
21 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Oh, and if you have trouble deciphering someone’s orders by looking at the map, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Orders” button next to Archive. There you can see the orders every country entered in text format.
23 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Hey is there a way to get push notifications for this to iPhone?
23 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1902: I don't believe there is, although that would be a good idea.
23 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1902: Green line = support hold
Yellow line = support advance

We didn't have any green lines before, but a few have popped up now.
25 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
25 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: I’ll message Stab. If everyone wants to ready up, it will process as soon as Russia readies his orders.
25 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1902: Stan, not stab.
