17 Apr 20 UTC GG's
17 Apr 20 UTC Well Italy, we tried to prevent the solo but Russia was determined to hand it to Turkey. I did what I could.
17 Apr 20 UTC Longest 5 minute phase game ever?
17 Apr 20 UTC Our coordination wasn't bad. Good game Turkey, nice job taking the solo.
17 Apr 20 UTC I've been defending against a solo since 1905.
17 Apr 20 UTC GG I had my draw up when the first France dropped. I figured I may as well punish someone.
17 Apr 20 UTC Ty France. And I don't mean to take away from this gloriousness (thank you Czech!) but what the hell was that German opening And the English one?
17 Apr 20 UTC The lack of Bur s Kie-Ruh in Autumn 1918 was the nail in the coffin.
17 Apr 20 UTC When I first came in, I didn't see it. It's hard to join a live game and have 5 minutes to enter orders and figure out what everyone else is doing. If I could re do that first move I would.
17 Apr 20 UTC Yah, game said orders were entered but someone didn't ready.
17 Apr 20 UTC Well Russia you really just punished yourself since we all get nothing but a survive out of that when we could have had a draw
17 Apr 20 UTC Good game.
17 Apr 20 UTC England's wasn't too weird...but Germany's was just stupid
17 Apr 20 UTC Iceland ending green is the perfect representation of how wacky this game was.
17 Apr 20 UTC France also had a weird opening. Brest to Picardy?
17 Apr 20 UTC Czech's mo is that if he's going to be killed so the others can be part of a draw he tries to help the solo threat solo. It's a pretty good tactic to take imo
17 Apr 20 UTC England not taking Norway was dopey as hell
17 Apr 20 UTC Yeah, France was weird too now that you mention it.
17 Apr 20 UTC And yeah 90, only the 2nd time I think I've ever seen a green iceland at the end of a game.
17 Apr 20 UTC I mean I get not necessarily doing everything you can to force a draw, but why help the solo so directly?
17 Apr 20 UTC That's just what he does. When you've got the most points on the site you don't really play for points anymore - you play for solos and saltiness.
17 Apr 20 UTC When France dropped teh first time, I thought it would be unfair to continue. Italy came at me hard and so did the 2nd France. I had draw up and figured it was one of the two who didn't want to draw. I was ready for bed. The nit readying up when you have orders in really wears on me so I just started watching a movie. My orders to the far reaches of the board followed by hold was to get units killed off so I could go to bed. Because of the not readying up, wife was already asleep so I kept watching the movie and decided to stick around. Yah, saltiness. So who was the one who didn't have draw up?
17 Apr 20 UTC GG. My open was screwed up. Germany's move was so completely odd. I thought I had a chance to get a foothold on central Europe early in the game. The way they pushed everything East I figured there was no way he would choose Denmrak over Holland. I knew Norway was a gimme, but I gambled. Frances move also had me flummoxed. Brest to Picardy. Again, I thought he was going for supported attack into Holland. You guys may have went for the Easy one in Norway, but the France move tricked me hard.
17 Apr 20 UTC I knew I was beat right then and there. I fought off France for a few turns hoping he would make a mistake. He did not. Congrats NE Fire Squad. Well played.
