Congratulations, Turkey. This should've ended in a 3 way, but fucking England the absolute dipshit failed to pull through completely. England, what in the bloody fuck is wrong with you? I refuse to believe anyone could be this inept unless they were new. I filled in for an absent Germany so I didn't bet anything but I still feel cheated
England, that was horrible.
If you defend Spain, this is a great Draw for you. Now you lose the game.
I was waiting the entire time for him to pump fleets and move into the Med, instead he makes a bunch of armies....I thought, alright maybe he intends to hold Spain and Italy with them, risky but at least then he can defend MAO with just 3 fleets
England, please join our Mentor program so you can learn about solos and stalemate lines. Follow this link: http://www.webdiplomacy.net/contrib/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40 I have a mentor too and it has helped me a lot. |

This is my first game, and I thought it was quite fun. I didn't think I stood a legitimate chance at surviving a three-way, and was not sure how a stalemate would be determined. Apologies if I ruined anyone's fun, that was not my intention, merely to do something more interesting than dying slowly.
Oh nvm you're new, that's fine but damn it stings. You can make matches against bots now to practice and try out all sorts of moves with, looking back now you failed to convoy at the very beginning lol, i only started to suspect in Spring 1902 when you didn't take Brest
That's understandable. We were a bit harsh then.
Ah, thank you! | |
Most important thing in Diplomacy: When someone takes 18 centres, they win solo and everyone else loses.
A solo must therefore be avoided at all costs.
It's okay, I get the frustration for more experienced players when someone does something completely nonsensical. Oh, nice, I'll try a few matches against bots then to practice! Yeah, I kept second guessing myself.
Gotcha, aim for a tick-tack-toe War Games scenario. Thank you for being understanding!
This may sound lame when you haven't played the game much yet, but most games end in a Draw with three survivors. As a result, if you can't get to 18 yourself, you often want to work towards the 3-way scenario by working together to stop the biggest player. Germnay was doing that and exposed his flank to you completely, because stopping me was more important. |
