25 May 20 UTC Well done all
25 May 20 UTC Yeah good game, everyone! It was a fun game and I hope to play with you any of you in future games.
25 May 20 UTC Damn lol. I'm a little hungover so let me try that again. It was fun and I'd be happy to play with any of you in the future lol. I don't know if anyone is looking for a new game, but I joined a couple that are still looking for players. Just let me know if you're interested.
25 May 20 UTC Sounds good, what games have you joined?
25 May 20 UTC A classic game called Holes and a 1994 game called Angel of Berlin. I've never played the 1994 variant, but it looks fun!

26 May 20 UTC Hey all, new englabd
26 May 20 UTC Seems like we’re in a draw scenario?
26 May 20 UTC Hi England, yeah that was the plan - free points! It was the first turn I voted draw as well
26 May 20 UTC Turkey, is there a reason you aren't voting for draw? It looks like a fairly solid stalemate
26 May 20 UTC Yeah, even you aren't trying to advance and gain 3 more centers
26 May 20 UTC I haven't checked since yesterday. I'll vote for it right now!
26 May 20 UTC Good work, mentelgen. Hope to see you all in new games!
26 May 20 UTC lol, I'm happy w free points! It seems like y'all played a solid game tho. GG
26 May 20 UTC I'd have gone for the last three Supply Centers if it was possible! But it's real stalemated up over here.
26 May 20 UTC Turkey I'm interested to know what happened with you and Russia. If I was playing as you I'd probably have turned on Russia sooner (although maybe I was telling myself that at the time because I really needed Russia to focus on someone other than me)
Is there a reason why you didn't?
26 May 20 UTC I'm also really interested to know why you held with the Ionian Sea rather than trying for Tunis. That was a very tough turn for me, when France thwarted my effort to get Brest, France didn't take a centre from England and England managed to take Tunis with no resistance, all on the turn when I really needed things to go badly for England!
Was that hold of the Ionian intended to give England the ammo to put up a strong defence against my stab?
26 May 20 UTC And I also wanna say to (old) England and Russia, I'm very impressed at both of your abilities to set aside the fact that we'd been at each other's throats for years in essentially a single turn!
26 May 20 UTC Well my plan was to keep France alive and build them up as an ally. I was waiting to back stab Russia until Austria and Italy were completely gone just in case they wanted to team up against me. I also figured France would be easier to take out than England once it came time to betray them.
26 May 20 UTC I waited so long to turn on Russia because you were in the same position I'm now, much closer to winning than everyone else. At the time, every other region was kind of a mess besides myself and Russia. If Russia was to be weaker, you'd probably be able to clean up and come pretty close to a solo. Or at least that's what I thought of it lol. I didn't necessarily count on the three of you teaming up though once I had the solo advantage.
26 May 20 UTC And the hold in Tunis against England was actually meant to help you lol, and also to keep England out of the Med. I figured once England had tunis, they'd get some of Italy too. So it was my way of trying to help, without straight up attacking England, and also securing Italy for myself.
27 May 20 UTC Haha well played anyway
27 May 20 UTC Thanks! you too.
28 May 20 UTC Well played all!
I must say, I was rather hurt when I saw Turkey's stab, but I also left myself wide open to it (and wound up in a draw in the end, so that's good). As for turning around so quickly, I didn't really care, because I knew that if any of us turned on the others, they'd lose because Turkey would solo. I enjoyed playing with you all!
28 May 20 UTC I was so close!
