Spring, 1903: Come on chaps, press Ready on those retreat orders.
Spring, 1903: Russia can't retreat inland though, it will have to disband. Should that happen automatically?
Autumn, 1903: Oops. Sorry. Had hit Save, not Ready.
Autumn, 1903: Are we all ready to hit Ready?
Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1903: What say we all hit ready, chaps?
Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1903: Another delay? Ah come on lads
Autumn, 1903: No more excused delays next game. You snooze, you loose.
Autumn, 1903: Another missed turn..? Who is up for starting again? Other players?
Autumn, 1903: Three players have used their excused turn up, so hopefully it won't happen again
Autumn, 1903: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1903: Ah what? | |
Autumn, 1903: Wut?!! Ahhh!
Autumn, 1903: This has happened a lot, and one country has clearly not understood how to input orders correctly. I’m happy to play on, I’m happy to vote for turkey/England victory if anything else. It’s just all a bit chaotic and meaningless, in my opinion. I shall continue to enter orders and shall abide with what the consensus of the rest of you is. Ramone Libido IV |

Autumn, 1903: Sorry - don’t know why that sent several times!
Autumn, 1903: Vote for a draw?
Autumn, 1903: England and I have an unfair advantage now - indeed, we've had once since the start due to France's mis-steps
Autumn, 1903: Sure - I vote draw and re-start - more level playing field...
Autumn, 1903: I vote for a draw.
Autumn, 1903: There’s a button on the game page if anybody wants to vote
Autumn, 1903: Personally I'd like to play on, it took us long enough to get the players needed for this game...
Autumn, 1903: Although if the newbies are up for another game now they've learned the ropes a bit I wouldn't mind a draw?
Autumn, 1903: France appears to have left the game. Asking somebody to step in will be a tall order, given the simultaneously hopeless and bizarre position they are in. I’ve cast a vote for both ‘cancel’ and ‘draw’. I don’t care either way which way this goes, but I don’t think there’s much point playing on. If others wish to do so, I will, of course continue to submit my (philosophically pointless) orders. Ramone Libido |

Autumn, 1903: Good play by Turkey in particular - very patient in terms of stabbing, I thought - I would have been much more impatient and screwed things up. Always a pleasure to communicate with, too. Germany played very well - continued to communicate in a most civil manner, even after my failed lunge into Munich. England played very well, I thought - an excellent move into STP and talked, even though we had no immediately mutual concerns. I had great plans for an I-F alliance, and believe it could have worked well, but it appears France didn’t know how to input orders correctly and it all came to naught. I hope France will try again - there’s a lot to learn in this game, let alone the website mechanics! Austria and Russia had a tough game. I did my best, and failed, to invade Austria - well defended, and I hope you won’t take anything personally. Russia had a hard time from the outset - not much one can do in these circumstances other than talk, talk, talk and pray! |

Autumn, 1903: Are we in post-match analysis mode? I think everyone was great - especially Italy, who made us laugh when they had nothing to say - and was unlucky despite some bold moves. Fear Turkey. Respect Germany. Pity Russia. I'll set up another game, with some addicts and friends, first refusals here... but we can keep this one going. |

Autumn, 1903: I've entered a vote for draw, although will keep playing if people want to finish this out.. as you've noticed, I was so patient and am only now getting the chance to reap the rewards! Great fun though, good chats with Italy and England, Russia magnanimous to the end and a good sport, didn't hear much from Germany but solid play and I even learned a bit from your moves from England when you bounced yourself out to avoid an SC being taken in retreat! Nice one. Poor France didn't get off the ground moves wise but clearly had the guts to try things, keep playing and it will all come together France! And poor Austria was doomed from the start, let's be honest. |

Spring, 1904: I voted for a draw, despite playing appallingly
Spring, 1904: Also, signed up for the other game, and proceeded this one by destroying a unit
Spring, 1904: In fairness, Russia was at the receiving end North, South and Centre - it just happens sometimes.
Spring, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Spring, 1904: Gaaarrrrggghhhh!
Spring, 1904: Italy's left, but France is back?
Spring, 1904: and Austria's left as well
Spring, 1904: Italy left and came back as France?
Spring, 1904: It's almost like there's a pandemic.
Spring, 1904: Ah FFS! Sorry folks, didn’t realise the time - no excuses, just a mistake. Please accept my apologies.
Spring, 1904: Actually, my mistake - I thought I’d missed a deadline, but I think it was my retreat move. Ah well, once more unto the breach and all that.... |

Well played everyone, that had the makings of a very interesting game if we'd just been able to get it off the ground
That was awesome, but frustrating in equal measure! Have never done so well early in a game and then for it to not go anywhere was a bit annoying. Great fun though.
Bother, I was just thinking of stabbing Germany in the back. Oh well. |
