17 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: As a note, the Turks, long descendants of the Spanish Moors, would like to extend our claim to Spain.

Obviously we recognize that that claim is somewhat distant, both geographically and historically, and so it is our intent to realize the territorial ambition no sooner than Fall 1908.

That is all.
17 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: I should have said "distant cousins" of the Spanish Moors, and not descendants (pedantic historical piece)
17 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: France will accept no claim based on such a tenuous and archaic foundation, and will defend the fundamental right of all Spanish citizens to join the mighty French Empire!
18 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1901: That did not go so well the last time you tried to absorb the Spanish people into your Empire. Be wary of the Spanish Ulcer my friend. In the spirit of friendship, we will gladly accede that you have full area of influence over Spain, at least until our 1908 deadline.
19 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: WELL THAT WAS A FIRST TURN
19 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: Wild lol
22 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.

13 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1905: Fraaaaance
17 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1906: Turkey would like to thank England for taking Spain from the French and for administering to it for the time between now and when Turkey rightfully takes possession of the territory in 1908 as previously stated.

The French have been rightfully punished for not recognizing our fully legitimate claims to the territory.

24 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Good game everyone!
25 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: Uhh. Woops.

In my defence, Bulgaria and Budapest both LOOK the same AND are close together.
25 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: LOL
28 Apr 20 UTC Hey folks,

I know that that Ukraine army makes things look like it's not a draw situation, but to my eye, this looks like a draw.

There's a solid stalemate line that cannot be broken from North Africa to Switzerland.

Switzerland to Moscow has some back and forth that could happen, and guesswork, but I can't see it meaningfully changing.

Even that Ukraine army is going to get hunted down.

I'm open to continuing play and seeing if something gives, but I know some folks have been pretty busy in their personal lives, and in general, I think we're at a 4 way draw.

I've thrown in a draw vote, and am happy to call it here.
28 Apr 20 UTC But I want St Petersburg. :(

As long as we acknowledge that I could take it (with Germany's help), I'm happy to draw. :p
28 Apr 20 UTC ... Also JK I'll vote draw.
28 Apr 20 UTC I'm on board for a draw. St P would definitely go to you, but I think I could hold you after that :)
29 Apr 20 UTC Hey Turkey, thanks for the suggestion - I think a draw would be nice! This has been a really fun game - obsessing over my turns has been a highlight, especially early in isolation! I'm sorry over the past week I've had to check out a bit to focus on other things!
29 Apr 20 UTC Totally understandable! Great game everyone!
