23 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1996: Attempting to "liberate" Austria, anyways. Will you stop now? It looks like you have a new target for next turn anyways, looking at that Krakow army.
23 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1996: Because if war is what you want, I will happily give it.
23 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1996: By the way, Turkey, yes. I declare war on Turkey.
23 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1996: Thanks, I was wondering about your intentions.

25 Mar 20 UTC Spring, 1996: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.

21 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: To Germany, Poland, Ukraine: I have obviously made a grave mistake by placing my trust in France. I will join your righteous war against them. How should we proceed?
21 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: I declare war on France.
21 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: In my defense, I am simply trying to better the stats for France in Modern. When was the last time France participated in a draw in this variant?
21 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: I usually play classic. Isn’t a France the strongest in that?
21 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Perhaps, but not in Modern Dip. You can denounce me for lying, but you cannot denounce me for wanting to survive to the end as France. And I have only lied to those who posed the greatest threats to my survival. I have been working towards securing my place in any draw and do not feel that I should be ashamed of that.
21 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Aka.... don’t hate the player, hate the game ;-)
21 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Most times I love to hate the game... especially this variant :)
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: How about an official offer for a final five draw that includes France, Britain, Poland, Ukraine, and Egypt submitted for review per the Adana Protocol?
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: If we are to eliminate Germany and Italy, then would it not give time to anyone to stab each other?
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Notice how, if you were to follow through with France's plan of eliminating Germany and I, France will be the one taking a large portion of the spoils. France is already heads and shoulders above anyone else in this round, so there is little reason for them to propose this draw besides as a ploy to gain more centers and secure a solo victory.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: But considering that I have made this an official offer in public chat means that this is not a ploy. Can we see if we have drawn?
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: I have clicked the Draw button. It would be silly to draw now, but when those other four are ready, they can click too.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: France betrayed and was lying to everybody over and over again - even Italy, who has been loyal to France from the beginning and who has made France's rise possible in the first place, was betrayed. I believe I have been honest and fair to my neighbors (looking at the results France's strategy was better than mine, though ; )

Instead of punishing Italy, Spain and me for no good reason, how about we punish the one player who actually deserves it?
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Which power is this? I am colourblind and find it hard to distinguish.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: This is our German friend
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Ok thanks.

Well in fairness to France, the aim of the game IS to win. Even if it doesn’t happen often.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Did France lie to Ger? I am a sub in this game so missed the first few years.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: The first Ukraine pronounced that we had to declare war prior to invading. I invaded Spain with Britain immediately without declaring war. By the second year, both Italy and Germany wanted me to stab the other. I stabbed Germany since Italy and Britain could help. New Ukraine and I had discussions after, which led me to stab Italy. That is how I got to this place.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Do we all remember those facts?
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Therefore, talk of who deserves punishment is a bit overstated and hypocritical. As I said before, we all deserve punish-mints.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Personally, I believe that I have done well in this game simply because I was able to convince Germany and Italy to go to war with each other instead of me. That allowed me to take care of Spain, Britain to move north, and then gave me an unexpected opening against Italy when the time was right.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Fair enough France. The point I was trying to make is that Diplomacy is a game which involves lying, pretty much by its nature.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Don’t hate the player, hate the game!
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: Very true, but you also need someone to trust who not also your target. For me, that has been Britain.
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: So may I again extend my offer of a five-way draw that must unfortunately exclude Spain, Germany, and Italy?
22 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 2000: I am not nagging. I get the game. France played a very good game and I respect that.
I just don't like the idea to be kicked out of the game. I have one more SC as England, and all they did is to not attack France, which is reason enough for the Roi-Soleil to grant them a place in the sun.
08 May 20 UTC Autumn, 2002: I guess France wins.
11 May 20 UTC Maybe draws instead?
11 May 20 UTC Maybe not. Looks like Britain and Egypt are still going for the solo :-)
11 May 20 UTC Good game!
11 May 20 UTC Good game
12 May 20 UTC Good game lads
12 May 20 UTC I got freaking russia on a 25 coin game...
12 May 20 UTC but good game!
13 May 20 UTC Russia isn’t actually too bad in Modern. I got very close to a solo once with it. It was PPSC, so I drawed a little too early
