02 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: To our beloved future French overlords: I too say oui oui!
03 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1906: I have voted draw.
04 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1906: Turkey is right. He will never see the inside of a French prison
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Oh ffs russia. Anti solo alliance one minute, stabbing me in the back the next.

France - I'm back on your team!
08 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: 1sc army!
09 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1906: Shelter in place Germany.

Have a 100-10000 pints and wait for this all to blow over
12 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1907: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
12 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): I've noted the delay
12 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1907: It's not even me!
12 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1907: Hahaha
13 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: by the way everyone: In normal games on this website, a vote of DRAW means: "game over and I share in the split of the pot". So if this were a normal game, and you are still alive, a draw vote makes sense, you get more than your bet back.

However, in this tournament, the scoring is very different: DRAW (when you are not top board) means => I concede the game and willingly accept zero points. If you are top board, a vote of DRAW means: "I claim my 0.1 points"

So, logically, the only one that should be voting draw right now is France, because if the game ends right now, he is the only one that gets any points. For everyone else, a draw means you get zero points, the same as being dead. Your draw vote means that you like zero points.

This is why I'm not voting Draw, because, I do not willingly accept zero points, and no one else should either. i may end up with zero points, but I am going to fight to have a chance not to. Which means we must all fight to make sure that France is not top board, and to even out our SC count, so that one of us, not France, has a chance to be top board. It might be me, but it probably will not be me, it might be Italy, or England, or Austria, or Turkey. Who knows? but in order for anyone to have a chance to be top board, first we must make sure that France is not.

Stalemate lines and stopping solos, which are quite normal in regular games, are almost totally irrelevant in this game. Because a 17 SC almost solo gives us all zero points, the same if he has 9 or 10, we all get zero points.

I also understand that I talk too much, and it makes me unpopular, so be it. But there is a huge problem with this tournament and it is that people do not understand the scoring system, it should fundamentally change how we play, but most people simply do not understand it.
13 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I am voting draw because I don't see a way for me to get top board, so I'm willing to accept someone who is not me getting 0.1 points, as opposed to someone who is not me getting 1 point. That way, if I get a solo in a different game, I am beating the top board here, as opposed to tying with the solo. It's risk management.

The only people who shouldn't be drawing right now are Russia and France. No one else is likely positioned to make it as top board, and one wrong move and someone here solos. It's our job as smaller countries who are mostly out of it to make sure both sides come to a draw, and so none of us are throw too far behind one of the top two powers.
13 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1907: I think I can make top board
18 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Hi all. This will be paused until Monday
20 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1908: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused
20 Apr 20 UTC Spring, 1908: make to defense time. Oi oi what a headache.
24 Apr 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: There once was a man called Sultan
Who forgot how to put his belt on
When he tried to poop!
His pants went oop!
And he finally resolved to kill France, um.

{yeah, not quite a true rhyme got it, took some liberties with the rhythm, yeah, yeah, it's hard to write good poetry under this much pressure!}
02 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: As an FYI, my laptop is on the fritz, so I might be even more awol than usual. Ugh.
04 May 20 UTC Spring, 1910: This game is wild

07 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Oh here we go again, people who are dead who like to speak... I wish they changed the rule and actually permanently muted dead people.
07 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: That’s not very diplomatic
07 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: I thought this game was called Diplomacy, not Di-troll-acy!
07 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: I'm having fun.
07 May 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: I think russia is proving my point.

19 May 20 UTC Spring, 1913: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
19 May 20 UTC Spring, 1913: Moderator: (goldfinger0303): I've noted the delay
21 May 20 UTC England WINS it!!!!!!!
21 May 20 UTC Top board goes to......

ENGLAND

This means that Austria, Italy, turkey and France all get ZERO points, the same as loser Germany.

Bwaaaaaaaa
21 May 20 UTC Good game all.
21 May 20 UTC Sorry Italy. You deserved top Board imo
21 May 20 UTC GG. Sorry about that guys. I got an offer and I couldn't refuse it.
21 May 20 UTC Tugster is a nice fellow. Cant wait to meet you again.
21 May 20 UTC I will certainly look out for him... hahaha
22 May 20 UTC So, Austria, you're five people with six supply Centers, plan then draw won't work, at least not the way you did it. For one you need to take your draw votes down prior to deadlines. And you need to take all of my Home supply centers, leave me with four other supply centers. Surround and kill the units in spring moves. Then move out in the fall. Then in theory, you could leave me with for supply centers, empty of units. Then the mods would force me to vote draw.
22 May 20 UTC Four
22 May 20 UTC Obviously, that would be incredibly complicated to pull off. I wonder what you were going to do as turkey went to 7? I mean to actually kill me, some of you have to get more than 6. 34 is not divisible by 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7... It's a relatively prime number, in terms of this game, only 17 x 2.. and that's incredibly unstable.
22 May 20 UTC See I told you we needed to eliminate Russia, but there he still is, occupying Berlin and giving math lessons.
22 May 20 UTC Congrats England!
