27 Feb 20 UTC Good game. I had fun getting to decide the winner lol.
27 Feb 20 UTC And why did you choose france?
27 Feb 20 UTC GG, I mismanaged a bit while fighting Austria and Italy, and that came back to bite hard.
27 Feb 20 UTC And it was a good rally yesterday, almost a live game. :)
27 Feb 20 UTC Yeah! It was nice going back and forth like that so quickly.

I tried to swing the pendulum such that you would both see the need to keep me around as a stalemate line, but this last year it became clear I hadn't quite managed that.

I chose France because if Germany couldn't win, I'd rather someone from the west! haha you put up such a great defense early in the game.
27 Feb 20 UTC GG all
27 Feb 20 UTC I think that wad the previous france. :) i joined in 1906 :)
27 Feb 20 UTC Fair enough.

I generally don't change strategies based on new players taking over (unless THEY change behavior). I consider that metagaming and thus against the rules.
