20 Mar 20 UTC GG all. The result isn't all that satisfying since I would have been dead in the opening if not for the BC misorder of Autumn 2000. Losing 4 centers in 2014 turned out to be a blessing in disguise since my units ended up in prime positions.
20 Mar 20 UTC Ggwp
20 Mar 20 UTC GG. That misorder was so killer it kept me up at night.
20 Mar 20 UTC Florida, we've played together before, Ancient Med, and like there, this map, is/not/ balanced.

Peru has a gigantic built in advantage, so in order to beat Peru, it requires special measures. Because of this, Florida should NEVER attack Cuba in the early going, perhaps later if Cuba actually beats Peru first. Cuba is the best positioned to contain Peru, and Florida should allow Cuba to do this, and Cuba needs some help also from Mexico. Mexico you should join in against Peru, fight mostly south, and just a little to the north, not the other way around. Mexico can afford to split his focus some, but Cuba must concentrate 100% on Peru, it's the only way Peru can ever be beaten.

Scroll through some turns. Start with spring of 2000. Look at it. The entire Caribbean region is BLUE, and all those blue units are attacking Peru, not you. Your southern flank is totally safe from attack.

then you attack Cuba. 2001, you gain 2 SC, good job right? wrong. short term gain, long term pain, those are the worst 2 SC you'll ever temporarily own. After several years of fighting, fast forward to fall of 2007.

Now all the Caribbean region is PINK. And where do those pink units attack? Florida.

Now all of this has nothing to do with the poor play of BC including the horrendous opening and then the misorder and the rise of California. With competent play, BC routinely slaughters California on this map, again not balanced. California had a very lucky start, then played well to close it down.

As another note, BC, you should never open to Sas and Arctic, just ignore the north, and send three units south instantly. You have almost zero chance at Greenland and certainly no chance in hell you'll ever get Manitoba, just send 3 units south, and California dies very quickly. You only get one build the first year, but you enter West Coast in the first fall with a fleet, and California is dead meat at that point. Yes, he gets 2 builds, and you get 1, but ALL of your units are on him, and he dies easily.
20 Mar 20 UTC GG all.

Mexico- sorry I wasn't more help. That's what I get for playing on my phone. Screwed up one or two convoys for sure.
20 Mar 20 UTC Maybe Santa Catalina should be preferred to Baja Cal for the CA fleet on the first phase to counter Anchorage - Gulf of AK - West Coast?
20 Mar 20 UTC Gg guys. Peru s&!@ happens. There are for sure some things that I could have done to contain Mexico better
