1 excused missed turn
Game won by ForGrandFenwick (85 D)
13 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
27 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1908: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
01 Feb 20 UTC GG all. I never thought my path to 18 would include Edinburgh.
01 Feb 20 UTC You should have established a convoy from SYR to STP. I’ve done it once in a 17-17 game.
01 Feb 20 UTC GG
01 Feb 20 UTC England and Germany, wtf? Why didn’t you help me and Austria stop Turkey from winning? That was easily achievable. Did you not know that the game ends at 18?
01 Feb 20 UTC Autumn 09 Turkey took the Ocean, it was finished then. Shame. Good game, congrats FGF.
01 Feb 20 UTC It is true that the game was lost once Turkey took the ocean, in fact the fault is mostly england’s. But Turkey would have been able to get 18 centers even without that. Your job was to take St Petersburg: it was very easy and quick, and if england had done his homework too we could have drawn
01 Feb 20 UTC England stopped attacking FG in autumn 10, I wasnt able to take St Pete without peace with England. Sometimes these things happen. Cheers :)
01 Feb 20 UTC I would have tried it, otherwise the game was lost anyway. Always take the chance, even the slightest, because the alternative is defeat. Cheers
01 Feb 20 UTC There was no chance as far as I can see.
01 Feb 20 UTC Also, bottling the second fleet in Belgium while Turkey is obviously coming to French coast was a bad mistake.
01 Feb 20 UTC You mean in Spring 08? I needed to make you disband that army and I didn’t want to risk anything. In fact, Turkey was coming but we had plenty of time, and of course I was assuming that when needed we could all work together. In fact, I didn’t feel in a safe position and I tried to accelerate Turkey (taking Vienna) to arrive sooner to the stalemate and be sure to be part of the draw
01 Feb 20 UTC So then you expected me to attack Austria sooner than I did?
01 Feb 20 UTC Much sooner. Autumn 1907 was a great moment that I would have exploited immediately. Both Spring and Fall 1908 were perfect. Spring 1909 was already a bit too late, although he didn't defend Budapest. I think he was surprised too that you didn't attack yet. In fact, your attack was crippled by losing Rumania
