03 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 2003: That seems to happen a lot in this game
03 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 2003: *Makes second account to play both Florida and California at the same time*
03 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 2003: ^That was a joke, mr. Moderator, please don't ban me^
04 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 2003: Wait did we get a new Florida?

05 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: No, the problem with people signing up for games they can't commit to is on display.

That, and people who quit games when they start to lose...

06 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: unexpected, quick and deadly
06 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: Like my grandmother's farts.

07 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: NY and Quebec, help each other out a bit maybe.
07 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2003: I asked. No response.

24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: Why the world cant see heartland solo winning plan?
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: I hadn't really made it obvious until this turn. I mean, I'd clearly been working towards it, but I guess people didn't want to gang up on me because Peru was still out of position, Cali was SUPER low in centers compared to me, so they couldn't really attack, and you were in the middle. So I convinced everyone to go after you instead of me.

Now I just need 2 centers. I thought you were trying to gift me the solo, Mexico. Based on your moves, it seemed like you said "Fine, if you're all going to attack me, I'll gift Heartland the win", so I took it.
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: I do appreciate that
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: What else can i do? I am not sure why peru would go all the way towards me. He has built too few ships along Atlantic

And for California, i would love to hear his comment

I was destroying houston to signal peru and California that solo win is happening. But that signal didn't work
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: I made sure to orchestrate everyone attacking people NOT me with my diplomacy. All the while, I slowly grew in size until I saw an opening and burst up ahead to 32. Now it'll be kinda tough to stop me from ending next year with net positive 2 centers.
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: yes i saw that nice orchestrate by supporting california to new mexico. That is using california to attack me while you get all sc in the east.

I was just wondering why California and Peru would be blind to this obvious scheme
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: Probably not blind to it, might just have thought they couldn't do anything to stop it and their odds were better that I gave a 3 way draw? I'm not sure.

It's a 50 point game and given the lead I had, I never once entertained the idea of actually drawing. From the moment I took over at 10 centers.
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: well, if california and peru has stayed peace to me, we could have forced a 4 way draw, or even with florida as 5 way
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: but anyway, well played heartland. I am sure you have used your diplomacy skill nicely
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 2014: He was a good diplomat with me.
24 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 2015: Seems Peru has accepted his fate.

Yeah, it's possible this could have been shifted, but it would have been very difficult. All 3 of you would have had to be totally united against me in a very coordinated effort to contain me.

It was difficult to see coming and even more difficult to prevent.
24 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 2015: I will say, I've been super impressed by EVERYONE this game for being so cool and chill and fast on their moves. The turns have been progressing well, no one has lost their cool (from what I've seen). It's been a very pleasant game and that's not always the case in Diplomacy!
25 Jan 20 UTC Congrats :)
25 Jan 20 UTC Good game, all. Thank you for taking the time to play.

Super curious to find out who everyone is.
