09 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2006: [Quebec]:Rest in Pepperoni.
09 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2006: [USA]:So long Ricky
13 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
14 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [China]:How do I disable notifications for this game?
14 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Ghana]:If you click on the button at the top of this page that says "WebDiplomacy" it will take you to your home screen. On the right is a list of your current games, and there is a "disable notices" button underneath each game in the list.
14 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Kenya]:General question - can a fleet in Union move to the Midwest?
14 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Argentina]:I wouldn’t have thought so - there’s no connection from coast to lakes, so I would assume it’s just to represent the Great Lakes.

However, something I’ve wondered: where is the border between Northeast Atlantic and North Sea? There’s no line drawn on the map, and it does make a difference as only one of France and Germany can border both.
14 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Libya]:There is a line, you just have to blow up the map to see it. Germany does not border the NEA, France and GBR can go both ways.
14 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
15 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Frozen-Antarctica]:new penguin nation here...
15 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [China]:I'm still getting notices for this game despite them being disabled
15 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2006: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Im the pengiun chief- i ignore all disabilities and all are welcome in the penguin nation!
18 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2007: [USA]:This should definitely be a variant where you can build on any center, just sayin.
19 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2007: [Argentina]:At least a subvariant for that should exist, yes.

27 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Argentina]:Ok, I’m just going to put this out in Global - I’ve been chatting with most of the larger powers (sorry Libya!) and there seems to be a common feeling that most of us would agree to a draw relatively soon.

At the end of this year, Europe and Antarctica will be eliminated, with USA down to one centre. That makes things a very dangerous time for everyone, no matter how big, as the next targets will be powers of any size getting ganged up on by multiple others. Most people seem to feel fairly comfortable with their neighbours... which means some of us are going to be stabbed unexpectedly, or we’ll have a rather boring year where nothing really happens.

How would everyone else feel about calling the draw at the end of this year?

I’m up for continuing if other people are, and will do so to the best of my ability, but I’m going to put in the draw vote now and will be happy to call it when everyone else is.
27 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:someone go for the win....
27 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:too many early bore draws without people playing the game to its conclusion!!!
27 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Libya]:I may not have been in your conversations, but I am happy to draw along. In my spot I have my ally at my back and spending all my energy just to hold the line in the East. For anything positive to happen for me, someone else would have to succeed against India on the other side.
27 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Oz]:I agree with Argentina. As far as my intelligence runs, I think everything was mostly decided besides Africa for a few turns now. I feel like we'll have some very unhappy countries and a bigger problem on our hand if we go on for too much longer. I'll put my draw vote in too just to see what happens.
28 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Ghana]:Because this is SoS scoring, you're going to get diminishing returns the longer you keep playing, with increasing risk of being ganged up on. I think a draw is the rational decision, especially while the balance is fairly even.
28 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [USA]:I’m kind of in favor of someone going for it too but the logistics of expansion with limited and isolated build centers seems daunting.
28 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:Come on russia!! Go for the win
28 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:you boring bastards

penguin nation on it's knees and you all want to walk away with a draw- cowards

lol
28 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Argentina]:Easily said when you have nothing to lose. ;)
Seriously, though, 7/17 isn’t too far different to 3/7, so it’s not as crazy as it sounds.

There’s definitely a large part of me that’s interested in where things would go if we continue, but I think the chances are also high the game would just bog down and go nowhere - as Libya said, there are stalemates going on that would get boring quickly.

28 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Western-Canada]:Now all player has to fight who do not vote. Draw vs no Draw.
28 Feb 20 UTC Spring, 2008: [Russia]:I'm flattered that FA thinks I could go for the win, but yeah, I think this game is probably winding up. I think we should go through Autumn and then tie it there.
28 Feb 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:someone save me from the aggressive argy bargies!

leave me in peace in the pole please :(

01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:Oh, Oz has departed...
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:Hey all, it is I the new Oz. Been reading global chat, and it seems y’all have come to the consensus to draw on a few turns. From the position Oz is in (and ye fact that I took an open position so I feel weird not going with what the previous player agreed to) I am also going to cast a draw vote. Gg to all in these (hopefully) last few turns!
01 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:Also plz join this chaos game that starts tomorrow, we only need 5 more https://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=270682
02 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:Only three needed now.
02 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Argentina]:Wasn’t expecting that one!

...Anyone for penguin curry? :D
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:can we draw now please?
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [China]:Yes, please do. I'm tired of getting notifications for this game
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Frozen-Antarctica]:lol
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Russia]:Would be interesting to see what India possibly thought he could achieve, but I’m happy to draw now
03 Mar 20 UTC Autumn, 2008: [Oz]:All up to you india
04 Mar 20 UTC [Frozen-Antarctica]:India?
04 Mar 20 UTC [Oz]:Gg all
05 Mar 20 UTC [Ghana]:gg
05 Mar 20 UTC [India]:gg
05 Mar 20 UTC [Argentina]:Well played folks!
05 Mar 20 UTC [Libya]:Well that was a pleasant surprise. Well played folks. And a special thanks to Curnsington -- nice to have a reliable partner for so long.

05 Mar 20 UTC [India]:gg
13 Mar 20 UTC [USA]:Here is another chaos if anyone is down.
