Spring, 1901: Just a reminder to everyone our countries are going to get shuffled and so we should wait on press
Spring, 1901: Good luck and good games to everyone though! Looking forward to the tournament.
Spring, 1901: wait so are we our countries not final?
Spring, 1901: Yeah, this was explained in the PM from goldfinger. We shouldn't talk until he says so in Global.
Spring, 1901: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): https://giphy.com/gifs/southparkgifs-26ybvAxkNX15ejfqg Country assignments have been shuffled. You all are good to go! |
|
Spring, 1901: GL everybody!
Spring, 1901: Good luck, all!
Spring, 1901: I'm happy we can start! Good luck and enjoy the game!
Spring, 1901: Off we go!
Spring, 1901: Yes, that's a one point I don't like in the original map. If I can agree with him in dmz that makes your life more difficult and vica versa. It is very unlikely that we can agree in a 3-way alliance with Russia... in a 10-player map it is more easy. I can still promise if I can manage my western front I will come and help you. Until that you should try to pact with Turkey or with Russia. |
|
Spring, 1901: G, you probably meqnt to say that to Austria!
Spring, 1901: lol | |
Spring, 1901: Probably. :)
Spring, 1901: 3 mins to go! GL everybody!
Autumn, 1901: GERMANY - I am getting a notification that you have muted me. I don't understand why you would do that, and I also believe that such conduct is not in line with the standards expected in this tournament.
Autumn, 1901: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Please be aware that many users have reported accidental mutings. This is likely due to logging in from mobile. It's been happening across all games, and each instance has been accidental that I've looked into. I've made the moderator team aware of this. In the meantime, please check to make sure you haven't muted anyone :)
Autumn, 1901: Nah, he's just really sick of you and is planning to do the rarely seen anti Austrian reversal.
Autumn, 1901: Don't let goldfinger fool you
Autumn, 1901: Yeah I was muted in another game, was just an accident
Autumn, 1901: Yes, I was realized this mute and checked out already. I hope it is okey now. I've got the same message about you Austria. Can you please check the mute checkbox? :)
Autumn, 1906: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
Autumn, 1906: So sorry, that was me. I had this as tomorrow in my head.
Autumn, 1906: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Bad England!
Spring, 1907: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Pausing for Christmas week. I'll be unpausing on the 29th. Enjoy your holiday everyone!
Spring, 1907: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Hi everyone. I've received a pause request on this one, so we'll be staying paused thru Jan 1 (unpausing the 2nd)
Spring, 1909: I think it's worth everyone start thinking about stalemate lines and stopping any solo attempts. Remember because of the structure of the tournament all that matters is stopping a solo, and only in the case of a tournament score tie does it matter who has the high count in the draw.
Spring, 1909: So as far as things go, if you don't think you can get first place in the draw, or a solo, you might as well draw now/set everything else aside and stop any solo attempt. Doesn't matter if turkey and I are eliminated, or not, as far as your score and our own scores matter.
Spring, 1909: If no one thinks they will overtake Germany, we might as well draw now and let us all focus on round 3.
Spring, 1909: And to Germany, might as well draw now unless you think you will get the solo.
Spring, 1909: Except it's not just a tournament game, it's also a ranked DSS game.
Spring, 1909: So for my GR i would prefer to wait until you and Turkey are elimimated.
Spring, 1909: Ah, fair enough. I'll let myself be eliminated once you have your defense set up.
Spring, 1911: Off we pip. I think you made a mistake trying to eliminate turkey, Italy, but hopefully the solo can still be stopped. If not, congratulations Germany. Ugh.
Spring, 1911: I think 03 autumn was really the swing season for the west, with France cutting bel's support of North sea to hol. (he can confirm at this point but I believe a misorder.) oh well.
Spring, 1911: GG. | |
Spring, 1911: The people's Austrian Republic of Apulia lives on!
Of course everybody can live free in any place even in any repuplic, until they do exactly in every minutes what Germany's ruler says. :)) ... I think it is over, if I won't make mistake or I'm wrong. :) So, I would like to thank all of you this game. I've enjoyed it a lot. I was luckier this time, but I wish all of you this in your next or actual games! |

I should have micromanaged Russia more in the endgame to prevent this outcome. O well. Congrats to Germany who will probably win the tournament now! |
|
Thanks a lot again! I've enjoyed this game a lot, and not only because of the solo. The alliance with Russia was so great, it worked so well, I felt really bad because I needed to break it to arrive here. The war against England and France was very exciting at the first part of the game and it was also when I felt the solo can be reached. Sorry for every lie, I don't like to do that, but it is necessary in this game. I think you should concentrate to the Tournament rules if you are here. I think only that counts how can we reach the solo, and if it is clear we can't do it, only that count to stop any attempt fot it. Survival or better draw shouldn't count. Even a punishment for previous lie/stab/not fair or not understoodable movement. Don't forget, still everybody can win. I was lucky in the first two round, but everybody can reach this in an other rounds. Good luck for it! |

Congratulations to kissemo on his victory. I felt it was a difficult game and it would have been very different if I had not made the crucial error of cutting England's support from Belgium in autumn 1903 by entering the wrong order by accident. Thanks for playing.
Good game - congrats to Kissemo ! |
