19 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck everyone!
19 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Sorry all it’s been pointed out I’m not supposed to be talking yet
19 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: I know I can't talk but can't help myself. Excited to begin!
20 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): -10 points for Gryffindor for talking!

Country assignments have been shuffled. You're good to go folks!
20 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Well, the luck based portion of this game is well and truly over, so ally well and have fun!
20 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Apologies, I need to sub a player out. -10 points to Hufflepuff for not getting things in order. Country assignments won't change from here though.
22 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Sub should join shortly
22 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): All set everyone!
22 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: Enjoy the game, all!
23 Nov 19 UTC Spring, 1901: just an FYI, I'll be asleep in this timezone for most of the final hours leading up to the next phase, so if anyone needs to chat, the next 4 hours are when I'll be available
23 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1901: Happy Fall!
29 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
29 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Seems like everyone now entered orders, so I have 'ready' up again.
30 Nov 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): I've noted the missed phase.
01 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Paused for two days
03 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused.
04 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Hi everyone. Apologies to do this again so soon, but this will be paused for two days once again.
06 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused.
07 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Paused again?!?
07 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): You know, that's super weird. I didn't receive notification that this game was paused. I was, funnily enough, coming to pause it through Monday because I received a request (apologies for the many delays. I do know how it can break up a game).
07 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Moderator: (bo_sox48): This game was paused for a player emergency.
09 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1903: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Hi everyone. I'll be unpausing this this evening (~12 hours)
17 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: What a bunch of idiots. Has anybody else noticed the stupidly high threat France poses yet?
17 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: moi? a threat?
19 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: *slow claps* Bravo. Have fun with your nine center France, folks. I suggest you all stop fighting in the East before the E/F steamrolls you. There's pretty much no chance the rest of you can solo anymore. Good luck, use your brains. You'll need them.
19 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1904: This is a lot of bitterness coming from someone who ignored my four messages offering you assistance against France. Good luck in your other games, I guess.
21 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1905: Italy, to be honest, you just played a miserable game here. Both in tactics and press. Your last messages in global were the icing on the cake. I hope we can play against/with you someday when you are in better share.
21 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1905: *shape
22 Dec 19 UTC Spring, 1905: To be fair, I made some poor choices, and my presence in the game was... limited. I'm sorry for that, but I really wasn't feeling it and holidays have meant (funnily enough) less time for Diplomacy, not more. I hope to be more active in my other Masters games going forward, but it has not been easy to keep up interest for me, as I only have <2 hours a day to do Diplomacy and other stuff.
22 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Paused for Christmas. I hope everyone has a relaxing and stress-free holidays. Come back on the 29th ready for diplomacy again :)
30 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused. Sorry I was a day late. Got stuck traveling yesterday. Hopefully everyone enjoyed their break. Round 3 games will be starting in about a week!
31 Dec 19 UTC Autumn, 1905: Djeez I just saw this (just before midnight). Unpausing just before New Year surprised me. I will answer messages received in rather last instance as a result of that. Apologies!
01 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): https://media1.giphy.com/media/l3q2K5jinAlChoCLS/giphy.gif?cid=790b76112f910149b1cbc161cb76ab1c765433c09c7cd56b&rid=giphy.gif

I did state when I paused when I would be unpausing.
01 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: True doesn’t make sense though, in my opinion at least, to unpause for New Year after it was unpaused for Christmas. No blame cast just not what I expected.
01 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1905: Hark! An English invasion!
18 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Hey all, would people be okay voting for a brief pause, only about 24 hours? I’m out of town this weekend and will have even less time for this than expected. It’s not an emergency and I need to save up my tournament pause time for a trip I’m taking later this spring, so I don't want to get the mods/goldfinger to do it. You have every right to refuse, but I’d really appreciate the favor if you’re willing!
18 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: I’ve put pause in
18 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Pause is in.
18 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Voted to pause
18 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Also, Austria, if you DM goldfinger0303, he can pause it for you
19 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Paused for a day
20 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused
20 Jan 20 UTC Spring, 1909: Thanks for your patience, everyone. I've readied up in case we want to get the game moving again, but I'm personally in no rush.
24 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Paused per player request. I'm inquiring as to how long it will be.
27 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1909: Tournament Director: (goldfinger0303): Unpaused. Sorry I didn't tell everyone how long to expect. I've reset the phase.
31 Jan 20 UTC Autumn, 1910: Good game all - shall we draw ?
31 Jan 20 UTC Good game all - my draw vote is in!
31 Jan 20 UTC Thanks for the good game, everyone!
