30 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1902: Sorry for the delay, everyone. There's an embassy I've been trying to reach, but the phone seems disconnected...or maybe the number was changed and I didn't get the memo.
30 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1902: Or maybe he's too busy sharpening his knife...
30 Mar 10 UTC Spring, 1902: We, who are about to die, salute you.
01 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: Austria... so melodramatic
01 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: I need an 80s style montage
02 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1902: I got your montage right here
02 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1903: you need a montage (montage)
05 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Fellow Diplomacizers, regretfully, I will be away on vacation until Friday. I have found a substitute to control France in my absence. I gave him simple instructions for how to proceed in the next few turns and will resume control when I come back. I have asked him to select "save" instead of "ready" so as few turns go by in the meantime as possible. I know, I know... I'm sorry, but I thought this would be better than asking for a pause. I have instructed my sub to stay the course I outlined for him, so any fancy diplomatic negotiations with France will have to wait until I get back on Friday. Please forgive my absence. If you want to take the opportunity to stab me vigorously while I'm gone, I totally understand.
05 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: Wow, I'm an idiot. Merry Christmas England, don't say I never did anything for you.
05 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1903: England is confused and scared and kind of wants its mummy.
14 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1905: Gentlemen, I am currently in two games right now. To be quite frank, I don't have time for two games. In my other game I am playing England and have secured fairly decent positioning. Would one of you like to take over my position in that game? Perhaps one of you one on your way out (sorry for my role in that)? Or do you know somebody who would be interested in jumping into a game? Here is the game in question if you want to check it out: http://webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=23855#gamePanel (or search for Insulto, Verto, Dominor).
18 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1905: Good Game Turkey and Russia.
20 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1906: ::Rome shakes his fist impotently at the invading Germanic hordes::
20 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Don't forget the French! "I dont wanna talk to you no more you empty headed animal foot
trough water! I'll fart in your general direction! Your mother was a
hamster and you father smelt of eldiberry!!!! Now leave or I shall taunt you again!"
20 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: What a strange person.
20 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Holy Grail reference. Love it.
21 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: It's "Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!" :P
22 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Come on you English pigdogs, let's go!
22 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: This is my final hour, and I shall savor it until the end!
22 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: Stiff upper lip, old boy! Reminds me of the time in the Boer War when the Zulus had my regiment surrounded and all we had to fight with were penknives and empty ration tins!
22 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: May Prussia, Livonia, and whatever that crappy northern England province are, forever be pink. Good luck, fellows.
22 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1906: I like how Iceland remains pink, as Syria remains yellow. Good stuff.
22 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Good game England. I didn't know it was you, Bryan; sorry for hosing you in two games. Nothing personal.
23 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Heh, no worries. When I realized you were France, I literally started laughing out loud. You have my number.
23 Apr 10 UTC Spring, 1907: Sorry about the delay gents, I was away from a compy for most of the day.
23 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: The ol' three-way draw?
23 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: That was my price for selling you out, although if Germany had agreed but kept attacking, he could have soloed, with England all undefended like that.
23 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: Sorry bro, when you lost Venice we lured Austria over to the dark side. After that, resistance is futile.
23 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: I can't believe you just used a Star Wars and a Star Trek reference in the same sentence.
23 Apr 10 UTC Autumn, 1907: That just happened.
23 Apr 10 UTC I thought you would be impressed. Good game everybody!
