26 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1996: dang, who was the multi, and whats a meta?
26 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 1996: From what I understand, it's playing the game IRL, like personally knowing others in a public game.

27 Oct 19 UTC GG all!
27 Oct 19 UTC Russia, why did you decide to draw? Just curious thats all, its good to know your enemies when its all peace now
27 Oct 19 UTC GG looks like you got it right in the end Ukr :D
27 Oct 19 UTC Thanks all, that was a new experience for me with so many pieces on so many fronts. I decided to draw because whilst i felt I could hold the situation and not lose any more centres, so long as you were all united, I couldn’t see a way to another 8 centres.

There was one crucial move when if I’d supported Volga from Kazakhstan I’d have been fine in the east and then might have been able to turn the west but the way that Central Europe is designed its pretty hard to breakthrough when nearly all the centres are occupied.

I agreed with Italy to let Ukraine draw to reward a good rearguard action and because it didn’t make a huge points difference.

Thanks to those who played the game in a good spirit. There was one player who was really nastily abusive on the private messaging, completely unnecessarily. Hadn’t expected such immaturity from someone with so many points, although maybe having the time to get so many points says a lot! There’s a beautiful world out there, enjoy the sunshine everyone!
28 Oct 19 UTC Thanks! Hope to see you all in future games as well!
28 Oct 19 UTC GG
28 Oct 19 UTC That was a fun game. Russia took huge risks and got lucky so many times. Even this turn he made the right guess over Rumania. Thanks to Italy, Ukraine and Spain for working together to prevent disaster. I'm still amazed Germany committed suicide to help Russia. That made it a tougher fight.
28 Oct 19 UTC Good game all. That was an exciting finish.
