World Diplomacy IX, Anonymous players, Draw-Size Scoring
1 excused missed turn
Game drawn
24 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:Yes i agree. The world is too cruel. Make love, not war
24 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Argentina]:Hi russia libya and kenya, would you all like to draw?
24 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Russia]:love you guys <3
24 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2012: [Western-Canada]:Right back at ya!
26 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2013: [Kenya]:I’ll put in for a draw. Might as well get something out of this.
28 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2013: [Western-Canada]:Libya why are you holding out?
30 Aug 19 UTC Spring, 2014: [India]:Please just draw and get it over with.
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Oz]:Well he can kill Kenya which eliminates someone from the draw
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [India]:THen why not take out Quebec aswell
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Libya]:How can you state all of my motivations behind my decision behind not drawing but yet still be unable to answer your own question India?
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [India]:What?
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Oz]:Libya has a point
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [India]:I dont understand his point xD
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Oz]:He want Kenya dead so you all get more coins out of the draw
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [India]:I got that, but the rest of his statement makes no sense.
30 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Oz]:I give up
31 Aug 19 UTC Autumn, 2014: [Libya]:You’ve listed my two main motivations for not drawing but ironically are unable to answer your own question India.
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 2015: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
02 Sep 19 UTC Spring, 2015: [Russia]:New Russia on the scene, dunno why the last one left! Hit me up to discuss. All aboard plan draw. Do we need to convince naughty Libya of that first?
03 Sep 19 UTC [Russia]:Gg all. Libya is still whining about drawing. :^)
04 Sep 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:Awesome! Thanks Libya.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:Shout out to Quebec. We worked well together. Im sorry I almost took you out.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:Russia wanted me to post this here:

What an idiot Russia is. Fucking moron was trying to throw the game to Argentina. How he has played 29 games but is still THAT fucking stupid is beyond me. Fucking Darwin Sward right there.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Argentina]:who is Darin Sward?
04 Sep 19 UTC [Near-East]:Chip, do you and Tugster ever play together? Because that sounds like a nightmare for public press.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Russia]:Libya doesn't want me to post my reply, but he knows he is throwing a tantrum over a situation caused by his own greed. :)
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:And BTW Russia, your brilliant idea to get me to draw almost cost everyone the draw: what would of happened if Argentina saw your moves and removed his draw vote? You than would of handed Argentina the solo - ironically by trying to force me to draw.

That’s why you’re such an idiot: because you failed to even realize that was a possible outcome to your brilliant plan to get me to draw.

You tried forcing me to draw when we could still eliminate Quebec as well: which means your move was even more stupid, because you cost yourself a smaller draw, and thus failed to maximize your outcome from this game.

You don’t deserve the 16 webDip pints you got out of this game. Hell, I’m not even sure why I’m trying to convince an idiot he’s an idiot using logic: it’s a fruitless task.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Russia]:I know he can withdraw his draw vote kiddo. You know it cost both us 0 points to enter this? I hedged my bets, went after Quebec and you to get an outcome I wanted. I got it.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:@Near East: I recall playing a game or two with him, but I’m not sure what public press has to do with this.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Near-East]:Well, put simply: you're both tremendously annoying and toss around unsolicited opinions like candy in a parade when there is no way to communicate but in global.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:Russia, it wouldn’t of mattered about Quebec at that point: merely stabbing me breaks my stalemate line with Argentina and you forced me to leave my SCs to Argentina just to fight your dumb ass off.

There is no “hedging” your bets by stabbing me. You either get lucky I draw before Argentina removes his draw vote or you lose all of the possible points all together.

Just because you didn’t put anything into the game I’d to good justification for losing yourself the GUARANTEED points you would of gotten. Yes, you didn’t lose anything - but you still would of blown your opportunity to pick up some free webDip points.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:Near East, why you’re even reading messages for a game you’ve been eliminated in and why you haven’t disabled noticed in this game is beyond me. It’s your own fault, you’re not the victim.

Disable noticed to this game and move on with your life.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Near-East]:How does one 'disable noticed'?
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:On my phone, so piss off. Autocorrected me.

It’s on the right side where your games are in your home screen. Find this game at the bottom of that sidebar in your “Defeated games” and click the bottom right link for this game’s square. This disabled notices from only this game. If you’re still receiving messages from this game, you disabled messages from the wrong game, and you should “Enable notices” for that game and disable notices for the right game.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Argentina]:@Russia, thanks for putting pressure on Libya. I am sure you picked up some free points very easily, not sure why the old one left

@ Quebec, sorry for attacking you in last turn, as it seemed Libya would only draw after you get eliminated. and Canada seems that be joining that as well

@ Libya, well played and from the points, I see you are the most experienced player here. It is quite difficult for me to withdraw my draw vote as it would signal another round of global resistance on me.

@ India, well defended and your ship has proved to be important to prevent me from going further north
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:@Argentina, the whole world was already fighting you. There literally was no extra resistance that could be provided.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Argentina]:@Libya, that's partly true, but Canada, Russia and India could have sent more ships towards me. what would you do differently if you were me to get a solo win?
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:What ships? Russia devoted half his fleet to me. I would than have to move my units away from our border in order to fight him - and boom, easy solo opportunity for you.

All you had to do was wait for me to start moving my units away from our border.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Near-East]:You’re a fool if you thought I was actually asking you how to disable notices...
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:Yes, I understood what you meant. But you seem the type to not know how to disable notices - considering you’re bitching over something that you can control.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:Russia, FYI not maximizing my outcome out of this game isn’t exactly a “win”.

It’s sad you disregard old Russia’s sure-to-be good reason(s) for not stabbing me (especially since he was an experienced player). You’ll never get better at Diplomacy by not considering other people’s motivations and how they’ll react to different situations.
04 Sep 19 UTC [India]:Thank you for the compliment Argentina
04 Sep 19 UTC [Argentina]:@ libya, actually i bear some responsibility. I didnt cancel my draw vote. I am a bit concerned about global resistance if India starts to ve aggressive on me
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:@Argentina - you practically had a stalemate position against India. India wouldn't of been able to do anything; and even if you did face increased "global resistance", you could just draw. There was literally no reason not to cancel the draw vote (assuming I hadn't drawn the game in time before you were able to see Russia's dumbass-ery).
04 Sep 19 UTC [India]:Jesus ur toxic
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:Bottom line: if Argentina had seen Russia's dumbass stab in time, he should of withdrawn his draw vote. There was no risk, because if he got overwhelmed by the "global resistance" at any point, he could just draw. And if the "global resistance" didn't overwhelm him, than he could make a run at a solo.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Western-Canada]:I think I need more practice on the smaller maps.

I originally joined with Quebec because it seems harder for a western American power to muster fleets on the eastern American border. Im not so sure that was the correct decision but it seemed to work until we were boxed in on all sides.

At the end Libya you forced me to stab Quebec. I didn't appreciate it. I did it anyway though. It played out exactly how I thought it would. I pulled some forces back to attack Quebec and Argentina started to move. If we had lost Libya would bear some of blame too. Don't blame it all on Russia.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Libya]:@WC - except, we wouldn't of lost if Russia hadn't stabbed me in to begin with. Thus, I can't be blamed for Russia being a moron.
04 Sep 19 UTC [Argentina]:Blame it on me. I am the bad guy for global resistance anyway.

@ Canada, you did the right thing for survival. Well played
04 Sep 19 UTC [India]:Toooxxxiiicccc
