26 May 19 UTC Autumn, 2: There’s some crazy bounces happening in the Middle East.
27 May 19 UTC Autumn, 2: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
28 May 19 UTC Autumn, 2: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
28 May 19 UTC Autumn, 2: Just saying: i put votes in for draw/cancel if you guys wanna do that because Rome quit?
28 May 19 UTC Autumn, 2: Hello everyone! New Rome here.
30 May 19 UTC Spring, 3: Welcome, watch for the edes of March!
05 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 6: Greece... Greece buddy... is this just a big military hug, or should I be worried here?
05 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 6: Rome, Greece is playing to win. He’s going to beat you. He’s going to beat me. And then he’s going to beat Egypt.
05 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 6: Well you're just a barrel of joy aren't you Carthage?
05 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 6: But seriously, maybe we should all stop fighting and address the big green problem
05 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 6: Carthage weren't you asking for this from last year? To come to Rome's back?
07 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 6: Egypt, buddy; if he's told you he'll split it with you two ways, he's lying.
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: Why? I am not going to stab him.
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: To beat him, you don't need to lol. He'll still lose though
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: And I may defeat you and then wait for him to take down Carthage.
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: 2 person splits invariably end in a stab. The balance is too delicate to maintain
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: And you think even if he does stab me I will let you two survive??
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: Its a fair point saying that he is going for the solo win, and I would respect that because Greece has played an excellent game so far. Im counting on him doing a two way draw, but this is of course a game and honestly even if he does stab me in the end he played his game perfectly to this point and I would commend him for winning. You two begging me for mercy does not really help your argument, sorry to say.
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: Thank you, Egypt, and I do intend to split the SCs so to get to the two-way draw.
07 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 7: Well then, that clarifies things. Carthage, it's you and me against Egypt and Greece. Let's get this bread!
08 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 7: Come on Egypt! Let's paint the map in only two colours!
10 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 8: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
11 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 8: Shit my bad guys lol
16 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 9: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
16 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 10: So, we have a new Egypt?
17 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 11: Go along Egypt take Balearides to finish the game.
17 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 11: To Rome and Carthage, as I had promised I didn't stab or betrayed my ally and here we are with 17 SCs each.
17 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 11: Yeah yeah yeah.... we had to try whatever we thought would help. Do you have any advice for a new player going forward?
17 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 11: Well for once, try to find a dependable ally and work with him. Also, try variants with more players, is somewhat easier to get through. And of course, keep playing, it is what will make you better.
17 Jun 19 UTC Spring, 11: Thanks for the reply. What helps you determine whether an ally is dependable or not?
18 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 11: Well, if he's acting as promised and planned in the early turns probably can be trusted, experience in play will give you an insight to the other players as you speak with them. Speak with all the players, it helps estimate their position and goals and to evaluate them.
19 Jun 19 UTC Autumn, 11: Thanks. I appreciate your advice.
19 Jun 19 UTC Okay, this is it. Time for the draw!
19 Jun 19 UTC Well I’ll be darned; Greece, you’re a better man than I
19 Jun 19 UTC I am not liking stabs. If I have an ally and we go together for all the way, we will go to the end.
19 Jun 19 UTC It was a good game, thanks for playing guys.
If you like modern Europe variation, I am setting a game up.
19 Jun 19 UTC What is your game named?
19 Jun 19 UTC Here you will find it.
