12 May 19 UTC Spring, 1904: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
16 Jun 19 UTC well done ssorenn! France and I couldn't get it together enough to stop you.
16 Jun 19 UTC GG all
16 Jun 19 UTC Never thought it was going to be a solo. When France made the greedy move over the stalemate line, i popped two of his armies , that was the beginning of the end. Then i got two armies across the line and it was just time. Thx for game
16 Jun 19 UTC Turkey, you played very well. At one point I had almost all of Turkey, and you had all of Austria. Actually, that is what killed me. I had many more SCs than armies. I never experienced that before. But what was it that I did wrong that gave you the edge over me? Do you know?
16 Jun 19 UTC I think I didn't stand a chance with both Russia and Turkey fighting me. Whenever I see that combination, I try to kill one of them, and that was Russia, and then hope the other will turn and eat up their ex-allies SCs. But Russia wouldn't leave me alone. So I had to devote armies to the center of the continent. I think that was the problem. But I am curious to know how I could have improved my game against Turkey.
16 Jun 19 UTC I think it was the Russian. He kept throwing things at you, which i appreciated...the other was i owned BLA and Turkish SC are harder to get to. You gave up a lot, moving away from home. Once i had all you home dots, not being able to rebuild was a big deal.
16 Jun 19 UTC One last thing. Ssorenn, I think we met at dipcon in DC last year. The first game, you were France, and allied with England and me, Germany, until you two decided to stab me in the back. I was the guy in the hat, and went by the name of Johnny Bliss
16 Jun 19 UTC No. Never been to dipcon
16 Jun 19 UTC Our dance was fun though
16 Jun 19 UTC Only fun because you schooled me
16 Jun 19 UTC So you cannot offer me any advice? How I could have beaten you?
16 Jun 19 UTC AT is hard alliance even with press. Turkey needs to expand somewhere and Austria is as good of place as any. My thoughts if I’m playing Austria is don’t let the Turk out of the corner
16 Jun 19 UTC You can’t beat me :P
16 Jun 19 UTC Are you in the tournament? I made it to round 2, I will beat you there if you made it that far.
16 Jun 19 UTC What tournament? I don’t play in tournaments
16 Jun 19 UTC Nice comeback Turkey! Congratulations
Thanks for the alliance England
16 Jun 19 UTC Thx France
17 Jun 19 UTC Turkey, could you elaborate on the comment you made about getting greedy and crossing the stalemate line ?
Crossing into Tyrolia was an anti German move and I supported Italy to hold in Tunis the same turn to show I was not threatening him.
17 Jun 19 UTC After 1913, you held all of Germany. Had an ally in England and faced a 13 sc expanding turkey. If you had stayed in Munich and Berlin , you would have held the stalemate line and the best i could have done was get to 17, if i could figure out a way to get Tunis. At that point i was sure this was a 3 way draw.
Then you moved armies into Bohemia and Silesia. I thought this was An aggressive move to make a solo run for yourself. If you had broken my line, well maybe, but i still didn’t think so. When i popped both of those units, you no longer could hold the line. That’s why i had the chance to win.
