22 May 19 UTC I was reading Swordsman’s diplomacy writings during this game and tried to heed some of his advice and I’m glad it worked. I deliberately passed by the easy SCs because Italy needs to get the 17 “southern” centers (incl Mos, War) plus one, usually Mar or Spa. Because that left all players alive, except Austria in the last year, I knew that coordination would be more difficult, which worked in my favor I think. I also tried to leave France alone for as long as possible until I knew my campaign in Russia was going to work. Every turn I expected everyone to hang up on me but that never happened, which (to Flavius’ point) made it easy for me.
