Spring, 1906: Moderator: (Magnetic24): Hello, Due to some of the country colors in Chaos being difficult to differentiate, a code change will be going live tomorrow that will change the colors for each country on the map. This change will unfortunately not be able to re-draw existing maps for past turns. The colors on the map will only shift after the next phase turn happens after the code change goes live. We will post again once the code goes live as a reminder. We apologize and understand this may be somewhat confusing, so if you have trouble reading the map after the change please reach out to us at webdipmod@gmail.com for assistance. Thanks, The WebDip Mods |

[Portugal]:lol... why attack me at the end Warsaw
[Edinburgh]:Geesh | |
[Edinburgh]:Good game.
[Munich]:Well played all.
[Ankara]:Ankara was a very lucky starting position.
[Ankara]:All the thanks go to Constantinople for supporting me into Smyrna.
[Brest]:Munich, why, when Ankara was the largest force on the board, did you attack not one but two of the people directly resisting them? In the end you had more units devoted to finishing off Edinburgh than to opposing the only likely solo on the board.
[Portugal]:Apologies, I meant "Munich" (not "Warsaw") in my comment above.
[Portugal]:GG Ankara.
[Edinburgh]:I just noticed that I survived despite Munich at the very end....
[Munich]:I attacked Portugal at the end because we had already lost. But if you look at that positioning, It is another good stalemate line.I know that there was one potential game ending where we drew the stalemate line with Ankara, and if we were really lucky, got a draw, but I didn't know how smart Edinburgh was, and didn't want to risk him taking over England again and making me lose vital frontline units, but I took Waaay too long to eliminate Edinburgh, so it didn't pay off.
[Brest]:Munich, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about attacking Sweden at the very time that Warsaw was defending that precious stalemate line of yours. Also going into Piedmont in Spring 1911 - your campaign around Marseilles gave Ankara time to finish off the Italian cities. The writing was already on the wall already then, and your actions consistently weakened the very people you needed to achieve a draw.
[Paris]:and then towards the end he built a fleet in Belgium instead of army Kiel, when the German front was at risk, and then duh, he lost Berlin, solo.
[Paris]:fall 1915, he built army London and fleet Belgium. Ridiculously stupid. Correct builds were army Kiel army Belgium move up and lock down the German front, super easy and obvious thing to do. |
|
[Paris]:Army London was just an amazingly moronic build
[Brest]:Paris, we had a very boring time. I think the original Brest player should have built a fleet, which would have freed us both up to do more interesting things. We did good with what we had.
[Paris]:yeah, I know Brest, what else could we do?
[Munich]:@Brest see point above Vis. Not sure that Edinburgh isn't as Dumb as I am attempting to limit fronts. Although your point as far as Warsaw is valid, I had gone a bit on autopilot with that attack.
[Munich]:I'm not saying what I did was the right move set, or pretending I didn't flub it up pretty badly, just saying that hindsight is 20/20
[Paris]:no foresight is 20/20 when the moves are OBVIOUS.
[Warsaw]:Rather disappointing as there was an opportunity to draw this. Regardless, good game all. Well played Ankara, congrats.
[Vienna]:Good game all, nice job connor |
