23 Apr 19 UTC Autumn, 1902: Spring of 1902 has come and gone — AND BOY IS IT GETTING HOT IN THIS EUROPEAN KITCHEN!!!!! In the southeast, we have the Ottoman empire oddly attacking herself in the black sea, but thankfully no casualties were sustained. Additionally, the Ottoman armies make an interesting defensive play where no plausible attack from Austria was possible. Perhaps she is trying to send a message of peace?

In Russia, very little is new as the eastern Giant continues to be in chaos as the Bolshevik attempt to overthrow the Czar, leaving her troops without direction or orders. Notably, the Warsaw was attacked by both Germany and Austria, but this was a battle of three armies and so there was no victor, allowing Russia to successfully hold onto Warsaw. Perhaps this situation might change if a few of the countries were to work together?

Else where in Austria, the army in Vienna moves down into Budapest, seemingly on track to claim Serbia or perhaps to threaten the Ottomans... only time would tell. At the very least, the Turkey would be clever to make a run for Greece while it's still open for the taking!!!!

In the south, we see a very strong Italy putting himself in an excellent eastward defensive position, while also assuming offense in the west. It seems that Italian-French foreign relations are about to heat up like an ancient wooden cathedral on a Wednesday afternoon. Will they be able to negotiate peace before the roof caves in and the spire collapses? Or will we see a green Marseilles before Winter's turn?

Likewise, her Royal Highness the Queen's divine troops have also taken a match to French relations. Is it possible that an Anglo-Italian alliance will see the end of crepes and french bread? Or will France yet survive? Although matters look bleak for France, neither England nor Italy is yet her enemy, and she has the opportunity to become a powerful player once she secures the Iberian pennisula this winter. Maybe France might find an ally in one of her neighbors before it's too late? Or perhaps she might align with Germany and Austria to help fight off her neighbors from the eastern front? At the very least, France has a lot of work cut out for her this Fall in order to stay in the game.

Finally, we see in the north that Germany and England have butted heads in Sweden. Does this trigger an early decline in their relationship or was this merely a small miscommunication?

Regardless, by the end of this Fall, some countries' fates may be sealed. Will you remain? Shall you defend your people? How will you see your empire to victory?
