13 Mar 19 UTC Hey, Tugs, josemurc, thanks!

GG all!
13 Mar 19 UTC well, Italy was sending severely confusing mixed messages, as I would have gladly killed Germany had Italy let me into Warsaw/Moscow. I mean he pulled way back, okay fine, but to make it safe for me to do anything I needed like Warsaw and Moscow, which he could have easily dropped back to 15 SC instead of 17 SC, but when I went for Warsaw and he blocked me, it was pretty obvious that he wasn't serious about letting me take out Germany. He just was never far enough to allow me to do it safely, as we saw him swoop forward many times, and had I attacked Germany, Germany could still have thrown.
13 Mar 19 UTC Well then thank you lord Bolton
13 Mar 19 UTC :)
13 Mar 19 UTC Italy, there is a totally safe 15 SC stalemate line that you could have set up, and then actually given me Moscow and Warsaw, then France and I would have killed Germany.
13 Mar 19 UTC agree
13 Mar 19 UTC Gee, thanks guys! And here I was feeling all warm and fuzzy....
13 Mar 19 UTC True, but I was of course planning to attack once you hit Germany. Shouldn't have mattered, I had the solo in hand and got cocky. I had Munich defended with 3, and instead of playing correctly I assumed continued E-G conflict. When I moved out of position I immediately realized it was too late. This is the biggest disappointment I've had in all my games here, and nobody to blame but me. GG to all you guys though, you took correct advantage of the error.
13 Mar 19 UTC I'm just happy I was able to give the Czech a hard stab, and lived to tell the tale!
13 Mar 19 UTC Which is exactly why I didn't attack Germany, because you were still hoping to solo and it was obvious from your moves.
13 Mar 19 UTC You only had a chance at solo due to irrational withdrawal from Munich by Germany.
13 Mar 19 UTC That wasn’t irrational. The only way I was making the draw was if the risk of an Italian solo was very high. If I’d defended Munich, you and France would have had a much easier time eliminating me. I also wanted to show that attacks on me would result in me working to hand a solo to Italy

At the time, I figured I had just thrown the solo because you attacked me. (I’m happy to take someone who attacks me down to a loss along with me). If I’m necessary to a draw and get attacked I pretty much always throw. Your subsequent moves were enough to bring me back on board
13 Mar 19 UTC Yeah the second time I wa going to pull back for real. You never know, sometimes you get a newbie who might have gone for it. Should have pulled back my draw vote.
