28 Jan 19 UTC Turkey, what the hell, man? We might've had a shot at stopping him.
28 Jan 19 UTC Well played, France.
28 Jan 19 UTC Thanks guys! At some point I felt like in 1v1 against Austria, although Austria had a major disadvantage behind its back!
28 Jan 19 UTC Well played, France. Germany's NMRs were obviously devastating for him, myself, and Austria. I wish the eastern powers had taken more action earlier against France. I think the solo could have been prevented if a couple moves had been different, but, so it goes.
28 Jan 19 UTC Austria, I apologize for moving on you. My thinking was that the only way Turkey and Italy were going to do anything to stop France would be if you were dead. But then… Turkey didn't see it that way.
28 Jan 19 UTC France, good job...…...as soon as Germany missed a turn I was worried about you, but Austria at least twice tried to support you into Piedmont from Marseilles, so I was afraid to move your direction until it was too late.
28 Jan 19 UTC My game plan from nearly the beginning was to hold out until a western power was nearing a solo. It nearly worked out, except Turkey bizarrely continued attacking me even after it became clear we needed to establish a stalemate line to contain France.
28 Jan 19 UTC I completely understand, Russia. Things were deadlocked in the east and you had no way to influence Turkey apart from attacking me.
28 Jan 19 UTC Yeah. I really believed in the Austrian cause but the stalemate wasn't going to accomplish anything. Really wonder how the game would have gone if Germany hadn't missed those orders.
28 Jan 19 UTC Italy, it may have been a mistake for me to support those moves to Piedmont. I was trying to speed up France's path to solo potential so that everyone would be forced to get off my back sooner.
28 Jan 19 UTC Very interesting strategy ^^
28 Jan 19 UTC Believe me, I am kicking myself pretty hard for that NMR. That was just an unfortunate timing... Tried my best to cause a stalemate from that point out because I knew I was going to be on my heels. GG all. Shout out to France, for taking advantage of my misshap when it counted.
28 Jan 19 UTC Once Germany missed moves it was almost irrelevant what we did unfortunately especially with us totally gridlocked in the east.. Well played by France to take advantage. I am sorry to Italy for hitting Ionian - I had to guess you were moving from there to cover Tunis and was moving over to help set up the line, but such are the pitfalls of not being able to communicate.
28 Jan 19 UTC Even without German NMR it could end up this way, England getting mad at Germany was even more helpful than that I guess.
