10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi, everyone! Sorry I'm late. I'm a beginner -- this is only my 2nd game -- so go easy on me, OK? ;-}
10 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi and welcome!
16 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1904: This is fine. France and I are fine.
16 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Yes.
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1907: With an NMRing Turkey this is all but over unless Germany wants to take pity and Draw with us :>
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1907: GameMaster: j0nsn0w was banned: severe cheating. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1907: oh wow, what did he do ? I mean, what does cheating in webdiplomacy look like ?
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1907: Jeez.
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1907: Hi, all! New Turkey here.
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1907: I took a break from Diplomacy for a year but I remember j0nsn0w being in like... 5 of my games before.
27 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1908: I only joined this game because it didn't seem fair that Germany would get a solo just because j0nsn0w was a cheater. Maybe Germany would welcome a hollow victory like that but I doubt it.

I'm sure Italy and Russia were happy to see someone step in.

England? I don't get what you're doing. Help me understand why you would rather see Germany solo than be part of a draw.
27 Nov 18 UTC Okay, gotcha, I'll draw.
27 Nov 18 UTC Germany - that wasn't meant for you. If Turkey was absent and you just walked in that would be one thing. That's the situation I was referring to.

England handing you the win is something completely different from where I sit: as far as I'm concerned that's on him not you. It happens: it would actually be the second game in two days that I've seen that happen. Some guys get their jollies that way. Maybe you shouldn't deprive England his cheap thrill.
27 Nov 18 UTC I don’t understand ... what’s the matter ? Did I do something wrong ? Germany ask for an alliance and I just accepted. Isn’t that how the game is supposed to be ?
27 Nov 18 UTC If you're kidding that's pretty funny. If you're not I'd suggesting getting a mentor as soon as you can.
27 Nov 18 UTC I asked for but I never had an answer
27 Nov 18 UTC You seem mad at me for some reason... I don’t know if it’s legit or not but I’m sorry
27 Nov 18 UTC No, I'm not mad, and I apologize if it sounded like that. It's just that my experience is that you don't keep an alliance when it is no longer in your interest to do so. When one's ally threatens to solo it is common practice to join the resistance and help keep it from happening. Everyone else in the game - including Germany - expects that to happen. (That's why Germany voted for the draw. If you played the game the right way he coudln't have solo'd.)
27 Nov 18 UTC Germany - kudos to you for voting for the draw. A lot of guys would have taken advantage of the situation. I have a great deal of respect for a player who plays with a conscience!!
27 Nov 18 UTC Germany agreed to a Draw when he had 17 SCs?

KUDOS!!! That shows very good sportsmanship.

Thanks to all for the game.
28 Nov 18 UTC Well, Britain would have realized and I didn't want to have to come back from that.

Britain, what were you doing? I had zero plans of drawing before Turkey straight up exposed me.
28 Nov 18 UTC Russia, that was some good stuff. Sorry for the backstab, you put up a fair fight though.
