19 Dec 18 UTC Nice line-up!
19 Dec 18 UTC Really happy I managed to take this one down.
19 Dec 18 UTC Turkey, happy now?
19 Dec 18 UTC Trieste that important to you?
20 Dec 18 UTC Indeed. Before I offer a view perhaps Turkey could explain why he threw the game
20 Dec 18 UTC (Tugster. We’ve been on opposite sides recently it seems. This time we both got shafted :-/
20 Dec 18 UTC I was intending to take a break from dip coz of work commitments. So this was the “perfect” game to send me in my way
20 Dec 18 UTC Well done claesar of course. Ground it out. Not taking anything away from the coctory
20 Dec 18 UTC Victory
20 Dec 18 UTC When I held Trieste, I had carefully set up a stalemate line of Portugal/Spain/West Med/Tunis. Trieste supports Venice and my last fleet heading towards Tuscany 100% and unassailable defensive position. There is never, ever, any reason for a player stuck behind the lines, (common for Turkey and England at times), to attack a SC owned by a front line power holding a vital stalemate line, never. In all cases, it is acceptable to cautiously advance in NON SC provinces such as Adriatic, to offer support, withdraw all unnecessary forces and support from the rear. NEVER capture a SC from a front line fighter, or this is what happens.
20 Dec 18 UTC I took Trieste because if I were Italy, I'd move Apu S Tri -> Ven. I had plenty of armies doing nothing and I thought I would move them to the front. When you say "throwing the game", I think about moves like leaving the front line to "cover an SC" that's not even under danger, not taking an SC that was captured one term ago - with my help if I may remind.
20 Dec 18 UTC And let's say it was a mistake for me to move to Trieste. Then it's just my army in Trieste supporting your fleet instead of yours. Your army fell into Budapest and you could have supported Vienna. And Russia could have taken Bulgaria - like I suggested for 2 terms until that Rumania fleet was destroyed if Russia is reading orders. But no, you had to go back and cover Naples, even though it meant that Germany would win for sure. You had to come back to make sure you didn't lose to Germany while Turkey attacked you (which was only your assumption and you were wrong). Think twice about your level of cooperation, before you give out advice on fighting a soloer
20 Dec 18 UTC and i will do it again the next time a turkey player does what you did. Italy needed no help at all, where you really needed to help was up in Ukraine and Gal, not in Italy.
