01 Nov 18 UTC can we do a post-game on how NOT to have no chance at a solo, but trying anyways, and exposing the only link to making the game a draw into making a choice....

btw, this is pointed at Russia
01 Nov 18 UTC I certainly wouldn't mind more experienced players that myself telling me what was up
01 Nov 18 UTC Also, well played by framce
01 Nov 18 UTC Thank you. Where did Russia go wrong? Not that I’m complaining!
02 Nov 18 UTC You had 12, he had 10 I was at like I think

A quick look to see if he could reach 18, was that it was impossible.

So, if you cant get the win (which he could not, as france and germany would not let him) then you have to include yourself in the draw

The only way he can do that is to make sure Germany is alive to act as a buffer between Him and France. His attacks on me, when he needed 8 new centers. I amnot an easy target, and he has nothing in warsaw to press me there, so he cant make any real advantage

My thinking is "I am almost assured of a spot in the draw, because neither russia or Francewill attack me, because i will simply had the win to the other one"

However, in this case I was very mistaken. Russia attacked me, instead of moving strong vs france to secure the north, which of course I would have been more than happy to support

After several moves, I decide "well, since this guy isnt very good, the best thing I can do now is teach him a lesson by handing the game to france" which is when you see me pull most of my troops east

Going for a solo is fine, if you have a real shot. He did not If you dont have the shot, figure out where it is you have to stop the only one on the board (france) who does have a chance.
02 Nov 18 UTC I was more than happy to keep the peace with Germany whilst moving around the edges building up SCs. I was lucky that there wasn’t a coordinated attack against me.
02 Nov 18 UTC @France I also didn't attack you whatsoever even though it was clear you had a shot at the solo due to constant Russian aggression- if he had simply left me with my home centers, I wouldn't have thrown everything against him constantly.
02 Nov 18 UTC Russia played as poorly as possible. He attacked the 2 nations he needed for a draw
