04 Oct 18 UTC Russia, the convoy to Clyde was a nice move, but at that moment I did wonder how you were going to profit more from it than Germany. I actually expected you to move out and leave me in control, in Autumn 1905! After Germany's move to Ska, what did you expect would happen?..
04 Oct 18 UTC Good game all!
04 Oct 18 UTC Brilliant win, Germany - nobody confronted you with any determination until it was (way) too late...:-))
04 Oct 18 UTC sweet/Turkey. What the hell was the idea of attacking Austria ween you did? Austria was holding a main battle front with Germany. What did you expect Austria to do?
04 Oct 18 UTC England : I had mixed feelings going into Clyde towards Liverpool, as it was a stretch beyond reasonable lines. Same for my take on Turkey (Ankara), both of which coat me dearly from there on.
Austria never let up pushing me, as nobody bothered him (Italy was a joke!!) and that also bottled me up no end.
If I had taken Edinburgh as well and left Norway & Sweden to Germany right away, I might have done marginally better.
Great Game, though.....!!
04 Oct 18 UTC coat = cost
04 Oct 18 UTC the way for Turkey to stop a German solo is to move all your backs towards Syria, to make Austria and Russia safe to defend against Germany. Not to gut Austria.
04 Oct 18 UTC Tugster, it was a bad play on my part. Not much else I can say to defend myself against taking on Austria and allowing the solo.
04 Oct 18 UTC so RUSSIA: in regards to my play, there are two types of players in this game:

1) people that understand complex and subtle ways to influence other player's actions, reactions and game wide choices.
04 Oct 18 UTC Italy: Are you the same player who started off in this Game?? Because I fail to understand how a 7000 point player can make so many totally wasted moves and display such a total lack of any visible strategy as you in at least the first 6 moves or so........
04 Oct 18 UTC and 2) noobs with no clue...

I accomplished exactly as I intended with all of my moves the entire game. I made Germany stronger than Austria, and I set up the right side of the map to draw four way, Italy/Austria/Turkey vs German solo threat. Had Turkey played smarter at the end, the game would have ended with a dead Russia, dead England and France, and Turkey/Austria and Italy holding off the German solo threat.

Go back to grade-school as I know that you have no hope of understanding a detailed explanation of how I influenced the entire map to accomplish all of the above, so I wont bother. Sweet (Turkey) knows why I did every move that I did, but you seem to have no hope of comprehending it. Have a nice day.
04 Oct 18 UTC Congrats G.

I was going to write a lengthy piece on how R/T/A/I or (R/T/A if T had continued on in to the med) could have stalemated the game. But no need...Turkey seems to have grasped the point already. I assume Turkey's attack was a thank you for saving his butt earlier in the game. Italy...your continued attacks on Greece may not have gotten you what you hoped for. I finally got tired of it and said WTF,
04 Oct 18 UTC Also, will the interminably slow players who just refused to ready up -- even at the most obvious of times -- please identify yourselves. You are in need of serious mockulatory comments.
04 Oct 18 UTC Wasn't me.
04 Oct 18 UTC Me neither!
04 Oct 18 UTC The most interesting part of the game from my perspective was the beginning: England put up an incredible—and maddening—defense of the North Sea. I just couldn’t get through, try as I may. Had Russia not made the move to Clyde, I don’t think I ever would have broken through.
