28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: @Turkey - In light of your build, I will be moving into a better defensive position while honoring our DMZ. I hope you continue to honor the DMZ as well.
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: Nah don't worry, any offensive play from a single player would be virtual suicide unless there was some next level meta-gaming present, which I confidently doubt
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: But I will be moving into defensive positions as well actually
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: I do enjoy a twist to the tale though... :O
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: I do too, but I would rather end conflict than ignite it.
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: That said, I should've built in Murmansk
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: I’m getting the popcorn ready!
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: But on the real though @Russia, we homies. If push came to shove, I got you.
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: @Egypt. Calm down. I have limited places to build and will end my offensive maneuvers since the remaining SCs will go to you.

If I decide to be provocative, the limit would be to paint Kazakhstan yellow. Lol. Russia has wanted a big yellow territory to his east!
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: @Turkey - Just being cautious.
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: @Poland Thanks, it is good to hear that

@Turkey, in any case, I will be enclosing on my current borders, but not trespassing into territories not painted purple for now,
28 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2005: @poland. I’m excited to draw at 4
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: @Egypt

Could you hit Madrid?
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Yes
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Thanks
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Cmon guys, let’s wrap this one up!

BTW, you’re all good reliable players. Anyone interested in starting another game? Maybe classic?
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: I'm interested. Not part of the quartet but still interested
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Turkey - I think it will take another 2 seasons to finish off Spain. Once that is complete, I’ll vote draw.

I’d also be interested in another game.
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: I'm always game for an MMtM.
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Same, Poland. I've been in every one that has existed with one exception. I can't remember the name of the one I missed
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: @Britain Are you in the new one? Volume II. I think it's already confirmed that I am.

I've been in about half of them, but I really enjoy this MMtM games. The creator (Ultra Instinct Cubone, at least I'm 99% sure) which is almost certainly alive, has made a great series!
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Now I'm wondering how long Modern Madness the Maddening has been going on. Maybe there's a tome full of ones I've missed
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: I think there's been 6? I'm not the creator so I'm not 100% sure
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: I've been in 6 that are completed, this is another one and I'm in another game and I know I've missed one (maybe two if this Volume II is another one I missed). So I know there are at least 9
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Ultra has not been in all of them, however. Therefore, they are more true MMtM’s.
29 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: @Poland Really? No kidding! I realized that fact and thought it'd be amusing to create MMtM Volume II. I did and I'm still alive in it. Who knows if Ultra made it in... especially if Ultra is Egypt
30 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: So you're saying an impostor is creating MMtMs?
30 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Likely!
30 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: @Russia - Can Portugal support Barcelona to Madrid? If so, we may be able to wrap it up in another turn.
30 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: I only made one. I'm sorry to wherever Ultra is. I thought it would be kind of comical.

My two units just retreated to bouncing into each other, destroying them both. That has never happened to me
30 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: Alright

@Turkey, I am withdrawing from Caucasus, and you can hit Rostov to keep me in check
30 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: And I am not building in it, so there is that
30 Aug 18 UTC Autumn, 2005: @Egypt, I can support you into Seville, so you can focus your troops on Madrid
30 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2006: Hello @Ireland. My island-bound army brethren!
30 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2006: From @Iceland
30 Aug 18 UTC Spring, 2006: @Ireland

Well a fine day it is, sir! Long trip from blighty, and putting down IRA guerrillas is me task, probably to monitor the potato crop till the war ends.
31 Aug 18 UTC Tik Tok the end is near
31 Aug 18 UTC Have to give major credit to Spain for not just laying down and dying. Thank you for playing with integrity!!
31 Aug 18 UTC I agree with Poland. Credit to Spain for playing it out under difficult circumstances.
31 Aug 18 UTC Thank you guys. If there's anything I hate, it's people giving up at the last second. Britain didn't do it and France didn't do it, so why should I do it? No reason. Credit to you guys for sticking it out and forming a strong alliance.
01 Sep 18 UTC Ok, my draw vote is in. Everyone else ready?
01 Sep 18 UTC mine is
01 Sep 18 UTC Likewise
01 Sep 18 UTC I suppose that leaves us you @Turkey
01 Sep 18 UTC Voted to draw
01 Sep 18 UTC Spain’s reward for a good game is he is officially included in the draw and wasn’t defeated since he hadn’t issued orders to disband or retreat his last unit.

GG folks
01 Sep 18 UTC Good game everyone.

This game was interesting. Every time I have previously played Egypt, I have always immediately attacked Turkey and begged for cooperation from Russia/Ukraine. I soloed once using that strategy. I tried something different this time, and while it worked out alright, it left my options for expansion very limited. I’m pretty well convinced that Egypt should always attack Turkey immediately on this map.
01 Sep 18 UTC GG everybody, this game was unusual, but really really fun
01 Sep 18 UTC I am technically part of the draw! HAHA!

Good game all. Very chivalrous and great opponents. You all deserve the draw!
01 Sep 18 UTC gg, all. Nice to see such a large alliance survive without any stabs.
