24 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: So I'm still being attacked even though we agreed upon to stop other attacks and attack Germany. If people were to break that then everyone else should hang up on them am I right?
24 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Sorry for my refresh but yes I agree
24 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: You're not the only one still being attacked, France; Egypt almost died. Turkey has not yet agreed to the draw/cancel, although I don't know why.
24 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: I completely agree but you and England seem to have broken the compromise as well
25 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: I will draw when one or more nations are gone.
25 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Krugs, the problem is that Tanteno (Turkey) never agreed to that compromise until just now. As I said before, I don't want to change how I'm playing the game for meta-game reasons, but I will *stop* playing the game because we've all agreed to quit. So now that Tanteno has agreed, we can carry out Magnetic24's plan to defeat Germany, then Turkey will vote to Draw, and it will be over. (By my calculations, this will take 6 weeks.)
25 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: *Kugs
25 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: I didn't scroll up to look and see all who agreed so my apologies. Thought we were all on the same page
28 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: I don’t understand but if everybody wants to draw that’s fine.
28 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: The Turk wants to wait
29 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: I'd like to get something for the time I invested.
29 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Okay well please make this the last turn then and dont mess it up
29 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Last year I mean
30 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: So vozzol (Germany) logged on long enough to vote to Cancel, but still didn't make a non-default order or communicate (at least not publicly or to me).
31 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Baffling. I dont get it. Also, didn't say anything to me, he also hasn't since he stabbed me and left me out to dry back in the beginning of the game
31 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: I watched it an hour before the change and didn't notice a move in. He must go in 5-10 minutes before or something. That's a... weird form of dedication.
31 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: For what it's worth:

14 Jul 2018 Spring, 1995: Don't forget to enter your orders! (me)
18 Jul 2018 Autumn, 1995: I'm traveling and totally forget to enter my orders...
18 Jul 2018 Autumn, 1995: Well I'm glad you've returned. (me)
31 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: For what it's worth:

14 Jul 2018 Spring, 1995: Don't forget to enter your orders! (me)
18 Jul 2018 Autumn, 1995: I'm traveling and totally forget to enter my orders...
18 Jul 2018 Autumn, 1995: Well I'm glad you've returned. (me)
31 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: What a legend
31 Oct 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: Would everyone agree to knock out Germany and it looks like Egypt wont survive either, so then Turkey is pleased and we can draw then after this year. I'd probably be the next out, so you can obviously say no but I can stick around for a couple years and make it difficult
03 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1998: That's what I'm doing.

I'll let Egypt live if they don't go CD, since JimmyYee took over a bad position after the first player went CD, and one NMR doesn't negate that, so they should get part of the Draw. If they do go CD (or fail to go CD in a weird way like Germany has been doing), then Egypt will be eliminated too.

We've all agreed to end this game (except that Tanteno insists on at least one elimination first, which is the plan), so I'm not playing any more. I'm just carrying out the steps to eliminate Germany (and possibly Egypt). I am not building this season, and my only movement order in Spring will be that the army in Austria supports a move to Munich from Switzerland (plus possibly an order for my fleet in the Red Sea).

It seems to me that everybody (besides vozzol) has agreed to Draw upon the elimination of Germany (if not sooner), whether by saying so or voting so. If anybody does NOT agree to this, then I'd like to hear about it, and I'll go back to playing the game. But until then, I'm taking the position that the game is over, and we're just going through the steps needed to implement the result.
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Moderator: (Claesar): Game paused to facilitate a replacement.
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: GameMaster: Alfred von Schlieffen was banned: Own request.
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Yeah, now we DEFINITELY need to draw/cancel this game.
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Hey guys, I am the new Ukraine player and as such I am open for negotations in all directions. I extract all the messages I could read and all moves I could see that my predecessor was a creative player with a alternative style of press, some of you should know. I hope that isn´t an obstacle for further negotations. But as I see you are already close to finish that game with a draw, not really sure why but I guess because of some NMRs
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: as well as chat inactivity. Regarding the current alliances I assume that we have a strong Italian-Turkish-Britain alliance and the rest is more or less alone? Or would anybody say that he is allied with me right now?
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: I'd say that we have a strong anti-German alliance. At least in my neck of the woods, this is no longer a game against the other players but more a game against those who are preventing us from drawing (I.E. Germany). 4 of us at this point have taken over for others, and diplomacy is nonexistent in favor of creating a draw scenario.
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Moderator: (Claesar): Game resumes. Have fun all!
11 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Why didn't the moderators cancel the game or ban Germany since he caused all this mess. Yes this is an anti Germany game right now since he has caused the phases to last and keeps NMRing
12 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: It's nice that Alfred (former Ukraine) contacted the mods about being replaced rather than just silently dropping out over two weeks, and I'm happy to let Theoneandonly join the Draw under those circumstances, but it's weird that somebody contacted the mods without asking about what's going on with vozzol (Germany).
12 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Anyway, Theone, if you look at the order history, you'll see an amazing string of no moves whatsoever by Germany. Except that at some point (relatively recently) they voted to Cancel. My guess is that they log on just before the deadline and put in explicit Hold and Disband orders, but another player has said that they also habitually log on just before the deadline, and they've never seen the ‘!!’ go away. In any case, whether by trickery or bug, they've never been declared NMR by the system, so we all want to destroy them and the Draw. Or maybe just Cancel right away (but you can see that a couple of people haven't voted for this). Although Tanteno (Turkey) doesn't want to vote to Draw until at least one power has been defeated.

So we have a plan to defeat Germany in 1999. I don't know the specifics for Sweden and Denmark, but if Germany doesn't submit orders, then they will fall this year. I'm supporting France into Munich this season, and then they or somebody will take Frankfurt. Then Tanteno will vote to draw, and it's over. Your part in this plan is to not attack Austria in Spring and not withdraw the Draw vote that you've inherited; otherwise, I think that you're free to do what you like.
12 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Agreed
18 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Well, that's that. I quit.
19 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: How are you all so stupid to not destroy Germany?
25 Nov 18 UTC Spring, 1999: Hello everyone, there are 29 minutes until the phase change. Germany still hasn't entered orders, we will see if they decide to.
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: The NMR actually registered in the system for once!
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: GameMaster: Alkurian was banned: Multi/no reply. The time until the next phase has been extended by one phase length to give an opportunity to replace the player.
Remember to finalize your orders if you don't want to wait, so the game isn't held up unnecessarily!
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Wow.
25 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Yes exactly. Why cant we have an explanation about Germany from the mods?
29 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Moderator: (bo_sox48): Paused for two days for an emergency.
29 Nov 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Hello Mods, can you please see what's going on with vozzol(Germany) please.
03 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Moderator: (bo_sox48): Unpaused.
03 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: So no comment then bo_sox48?
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Well, vozzol came on and finalized retreats, so that's something. If protector of the realm finalizes quickly, then the game will have been shortened by almost a week!
06 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Actually, Germany had a complete set of orders for this season! In the absence of any explanation from vozzol, I for one am still dedicated to destroying Germany and then Drawing (or Cancelling). I would only want to start playing for real if we can get some assurance that players (vozzol and the new players) will be placing orders regularly.
07 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Wow, that was our fastest phase yet!
07 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: Hey England, Germany attacked you
09 Dec 18 UTC Autumn, 1999: So mods dont care
14 Dec 18 UTC Good game all.
14 Dec 18 UTC Good game everyone.
