02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: I'll trade you!
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: I was so excited I posted that twice
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: I’ll trade either of you as well ;) Jk I like my neighbors so far
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Awwww thanks Doug
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Has there ever been a game of Diplomacy in which everyone just sits and doesn’t attack? Maybe we should all just give peace a chance
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Peace? In my Diplomacy? That's nonsense.
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Btw I have a question of military tactics that I hope the great minds here can help me answer.

So in The Last Jedi, when that woman turns towards the star destroyer and kicks the ship into hyper speed, she destroys the whole damn thing instantly! So my question is, why don’t the rebels always just use hyper speed kamikaze pilots?? You could even use droids or whatever to pilot the ships so that no one dies. Seems to me like they could’ve easily taken out the Death Star this way, or at least dismantled it by aiming ships toward the big shooty part
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: So are we going to use a real chat app that's mobile friendly and supports group chat and that everyone is on?
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: We certainly can, but Turkey's not on facebook.
We have enough CS background here to make our own chat app though :)
02 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Sorry =/ I'd still prefer to avoid creating a Facebook account if possible. But I'm open to other chat mediums
03 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: So...I’m really dying to know opinions about my Star Wars question. It’s been keeping me awake at night
03 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: I'm sorry Doug. I personally chalk it up to a last-minute plot-hole. I don't think it makes physical sense for ships in hyperspeed to interact with other ships like that. Even real-life Alcubierre drives involve some kind of "warp tunnel" concept, do they not?
04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Frace, in the Star Wars universe ships have to accelerate to light speed or faster in order to enter hyperspace, so the ship simply might not yet have entered hyperspace when it collided.

04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Ah, that seems plausible. Although now that I’m considering the way those ships accelerate, I’m wondering how they do so without killing all the humans on board
04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Accelerating to light speed or beyond in traditional manners is not possible either so¯\_(ツ)_/¯
04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: Anyway though, now that we know it works in their universe, I really feel like they should pick up the kamikaze ship strategy
05 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: I dunno KunWoo. It may be possible to bypass that restriction. Alcubierre drives are theoretically possible, maybe they're also practically possible.
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1901: 3 people ready!
