04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: "Just in case you guys are interested, I am doing something awesome while you are waiting around living your boring lives waiting for me to come back to finish the game." Just messin witcha... mostly. Always happy to accommodate a pause
04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: Sure. Don't have a problem with that.
04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: Turkey 10:43 AM
your last build looks bad for me.
Russia ~05:57 PM
I told you I wouldnt build a Navy - but the best way to guarantee we proceed as agreed is to be able to enforce compliance!
~05:57 PM
also I need to back fill Rum to keep Austria honest ;)
10:24 PM
"enforce compliance!"??? who do you think your talking to, a child? That's the most arrogant, highfalutin, pompous, uppity attitude I've ever heard on this site. Up yours you pontificating ass!
04 May 18 UTC Spring, 1903: This guy (Russia) is a major jerk! I vote NO PAUSE to his scuba vacation. He needs to stay here and fulfil his obligations to US serfs.
05 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Only complete failures at life post press into public - who the fuck let this blow in into the game?
05 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: That’s before we even talk about a paltry 4 day pause.

Fuck you turkey
05 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: I came into the game to help keep it balanced for all the players. Getting 2-3 SC's through no effort of your own, smacks of being unfair to the other players. I'm sure there are other players who agree and have probably taken up a game for this very reason. I was sure I would lose to Russia/Austria, but what the hell, give it a try, make them earn it!. I was certainly not expecting a spoiled, pompous, greedy, elitist, asshole to emerge, mad at me for making the game a little more fair! I'm sure not getting these free SC's, pissed you off, as you seem to be such a conceited asshole, you wanted to gobble up Turkey, basically for free. Unbalancing the game.
I choose to post it globally, because that's what the global message is for! I'm not aware of any official restrictions in this matter. How this makes me a total failure, is beyond me. Btw since you just verified my OP, Austria should be wary!
The arrogance of, "enforce compliance", comment really pissed me off. You apparently, have never learned, not to say such a thing to a man. So you hide behind your keyboard, satisfying your elitist, pompous, attitude towards others. Had you been in my presence, I would have gladly taught you a lesson that you so rightly need, and deserve.
As far as the pause goes, if others in this game think you should have the pause, then I'll give in. But I must admit, I enjoy making you squirm a little!
05 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Wait what happened.
05 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: I heard my name but I don't understand.
05 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: read the previous post at 05:57
06 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Ohhh
06 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Jesus, Italy got fucked this turn. Feel bad for you, mate.
06 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Go back to preschool turkey
06 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: Christ. Do you really feel the need to keep this going? Can we cut this schoolyard bullshit out and just play the game?
07 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1903: I wish - and I didn’t start it mate - why should I sit around and cop his bullshit?
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Thanks for the pause arseholes
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Sweden will cut Finland's support.
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Well thanks for telling everyone.
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: No shit Sherlock
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: haha my bad!
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: lol
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Personal emergency with me, I must quit all my games. I'm very sorry for how this will affect you in our competitions. Good luck to you all. Dan
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Well my pause vote is already up. I’d be fine with a pause if people want to replace turkey but fine with CD too after all CD is part of the game. With that said I am pretty terrible at the web diplomacy interface but it is not clear to me that the Turk has actually quit in a formal sense. Doesn’t it say something like “left” next to the country if the player quits? Anyone? Bueller?
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: I think he'll just miss the next two phases and someone will take him over. But I put up a pause.
08 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Well a pause isnt going to accomplish anything unless turkey either returns or goes into cD. If we do get a pause, I am fine with asking the mods for a forced CD (is that even a thing you can do?). But I am also fine with just proceeding with no pause or intervention. The only reason I even brought his up is I just find it odd that Dan announced he was abandoning the game but then did not actually do so from what I can tell, but I guess he just plans to let the missed phases put him into CD.
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: How do you justify giving turkey a pause but denying me one was fine? Simply because I had more SCs so you wanted to cut me down? That kind of BS makes me puke.
Just cancel or draw and let me out if this terrible game
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Attitude makes a big difference, doesnt it?
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Attitude only happens when provoked
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Lol You actually voted for a draw.
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Moderator: (Claesar): Game paused to allow me to contact Turkey and see whether he requires a replacement. If you object to this pause, please email us at webdipmod@gmail.com
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: You lot are a disgrace - deny it me then cheat by shortcut and requesting Mod intervention to get around my refusal to Pause which was perfectly in line with your treatment of me.
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: I voted for a draw and a cancel tard - take your pick.
09 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: "If you object to this pause, please email us at webdipmod@gmail.com"
10 May 18 UTC Spring, 1904: Moderator: (bo_sox48): This game has been unpaused.
11 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (Claesar): Turkey had to leave due to a personal emergency. Once a substitute (don't invite your friends) arrives, I will reset the timer of this phase to allow the new player to catch up.
New Turkey, please email the mods if you need additional time in the first phase to conduct diplomacy.
17 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Germany declares its support for the 5-way draw immediately upon Russia's defeat.

France claims its backstabbing was an error of reading the board and diplomacy. I am also requesting that if France is truly for peace and his attacks were in error, then he will not continue to be the aggressor for a third phase. Instead, I request he demonstrate that his sincerity, if it is there, by issuing hold and support hold orders only during the next diplomacy phase.

Even should anyone be tempted to take advantage of that, none are able. Thus, France has nothing to lose except its honor.
17 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Only pathetic sooks accept 5 way draws. Then again what should be expected by you lot who deny requested pauses, forcing people into NMRs for their own gain?
17 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: The game is called diplomacy...one succeeds by seeing when fighting should be concluded. I must say, I'm surprised to see your draw vote, given your statement. And why insult the good people of Austria and Turkey?
17 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: I placed my draw (and cancel) vote when I decided I didn't want to play with dickheads like you. In all the years I've played on this site, I have never seen such a disgraceful display as I have from you lot.
17 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Germany does not support a war between England and France and will not take part in it. France should see the others on the board are already with him on the draw and hence not inherently part of an all vs France future, which does not exist right now or ever since we are going for a post-Russia draw. Your black and white rationale appears only to serve to rationalize your belligerency, which again, you instigated. The hold/support hold orders will hopefully show you we are not all out to get you, show us that you are a good player after all, and wrap this game up on a more harmonious note.

England, please accede to the 5-way draw. This game has turned toxic and let's wrap up Russia and be done with it. Counting on you not to put in that vote until Russia is gone.
17 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: And frankly if you are so shit that the only way you can win is by forcing players to NMR, then you have WAY bigger problems in life.
17 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Fine. 5-way draw it is.
18 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Thank you, England.

Austria, England will cast its vote upon Russia's defeat. Will you now cast your vote for an end to this mess?
18 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Oh you preempted my question! Thank you, Austria :)
18 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Not trying to get into an argument about it, but I believe that the Turkish player who refused to support the Russian-requested pause has now been out of the game for a few turns, so the current players are not the ones that “denied requested pauses.” On another note, France continues to support a draw as soon as possible.
18 May 18 UTC Autumn, 1905: Wrong - others denied it as well and they know who they are.
18 May 18 UTC Spring, 1906: I am going to be traveling all day tomorrow. I won't ask for a pause because that seems fraught with connotation in this game but I will just pre-emptively apologize if I'm not my normal long winded chatty self you it's not because I'm about to stab you or something I'm just on an airplane. Good night and good luck
18 May 18 UTC Spring, 1906: Bon voyage!
26 May 18 UTC Congrats Turkey and Germany for taking over NMRs. Turkey especially for helping me through to the draw.

To Kerrigor2 - I pray that I don't ever have to play in a game with you again.

To CNote - well played.
26 May 18 UTC Love you too, baby
