01 Apr 18 UTC Well played Italy
01 Apr 18 UTC Sorry the Czech. I understood your move too late.
01 Apr 18 UTC Good game, thanks for playing all
01 Apr 18 UTC Thanks, France. The supported move from Marseilles into Spain in F02 was my lucky shot.
01 Apr 18 UTC Good game Italy!
01 Apr 18 UTC Czech is misspelled.
01 Apr 18 UTC Thanks, Austria, for keeping your nerves while my armies were in Both/Tyr.
01 Apr 18 UTC Yeah. I even thought about the possibility of it. I don't know why I even bothered with the bounce.

Germany - why did you decide to attack both France and England in the same turn? And England, why did you continue attacking me at that point?
01 Apr 18 UTC Likewise, Cpt Mike! Some good moves around Ger/Eng. I admit I wasn't amused when you took Munich from me, but I would have done the same, I guess.
01 Apr 18 UTC You can thank kamikaze Turkey for that.
01 Apr 18 UTC Only THE true Czech spells it like that Austria
01 Apr 18 UTC For sure ! :-)
01 Apr 18 UTC I spell it with a p and an r and a few other letters that i cannot mention...
01 Apr 18 UTC By the way I think that you had the solo, dipperjay.
01 Apr 18 UTC Yes, I was counting on that, Tugster. I rarely attack Austria as Italy, only if a solo is on the horizon
01 Apr 18 UTC So sad to hear you mad Tugster
01 Apr 18 UTC Italy/Austria can be super OP
01 Apr 18 UTC I think so too, Cpt Mike, but it was getting late and I had a good time playing. And with Turkey in the Ionian...
01 Apr 18 UTC well the move to take Rumania when it was obvious that Russia was going to follow to Sevastopol, not smart. I had made several support orders to Turkish forces to get us to stop fighting and to concentrate on Russia and Italy instead of each other, all ignored.
01 Apr 18 UTC I saw the support moves. That's probably the only time I got nervous about you sneaking into Venice, Tugster, that's why I moved back that one turn
01 Apr 18 UTC Turkey helping Austria to take Russia is often accompagnied by an Austrian stab soon after...
01 Apr 18 UTC by the way Italy... big big error to let Russia into MAO.... prior to that you had things well in hand, but you should not have gone to Irish Sea...
01 Apr 18 UTC I assumed Russia would be busy and that France would be busy with Italy so I could clean up the West. Unfortunately Russia had no issues in the south with Austria and Turkey fighting leading to me getting sandwiched.
01 Apr 18 UTC But Italy and Austria, nicely done to have collaborated until the end. I was just waiting for a stab between you both...
01 Apr 18 UTC Russia, I am talking about way, way, way past the point of stabs, when both Italy and Russia have 11 or 12 and turkey and Austria fighting over scraps or 4 or 5, not smart...

Early on, you are right, but I am speaking in this game, much later.
01 Apr 18 UTC Hindsight is 20/20, Tugster, I was counting on Cpt Mike repeating the bounce in Lpl. While I took out the German fleet in Yor and moving to Irish Sea, I could have taken Lpl in the fall.
01 Apr 18 UTC It is me who did a big mistake in leaving going to North Sea. After that, it was done..
01 Apr 18 UTC well, not really on the hindsight thing, there are certain sea zones that are worth WAY more than a SC.

North, MAO, Ionian, for example the three most important seas on the map, each worth 2 SC or more...

Russia's comment on north is proof, he left north to take Edinburgh = 1 SC, but lost north which i equate to minus 2 SC, and look at the position afterwards..

MAO is the same, Irish isn't worth jack...
01 Apr 18 UTC I don't disagree, Tugster, 9 times out of then I wouldn't have played that move. But you also saw that I didn't overreact and only lost one SC, deploying only two units to contain the Russian fleet, and got Bel/Lpl plus a strategic position in Ruh and Nth. So it wasn't all bad.
01 Apr 18 UTC two units to contain and he owns a SC...

= -3 units. Effectively - 3 SC
01 Apr 18 UTC Like I said, I don't disagree with you, just saying it could have been worse.
01 Apr 18 UTC and quite possibly the solo, as imagine that Russian fleet Marseilles is way back up in NAO still. + 1 SC for you, 2 free maneuver units, and the ability to block turkey and stab Austria => solo....
01 Apr 18 UTC but Russia's right about North as well, giving up north was huge for you. North is by far the most important place on the entire map, as it borders SIX supply centers..
01 Apr 18 UTC well, anyway, good night all.
01 Apr 18 UTC I think you proved your point :)
