21 Mar 18 UTC Why draw?..??
21 Mar 18 UTC Dipperjay left? Must have been something serious to come up.

He got hosed by an arbitrary austria. I thought I was facing Lepanto and so left myself at Russia's whim to rotate my fleet around. Russia I must praise you both for being an excellent ally and for drawing a quite skewed board.

England also killed himself early with the failed convoy and the Denmark open. Well played all.
21 Mar 18 UTC Well for me personally, because I wanted to live.
21 Mar 18 UTC Draw there for me because Russia was offering it, and was the biggest threat on the board. Perhaps we could have played it out, but its hard to do perfect moves in gunboat, and Russia straddles most natural stalemate lines anyways. If we lost another of the four powers left, the game would have almost certainly ended in a solo.
21 Mar 18 UTC It was a fun hour and a half...that's enough for me.
21 Mar 18 UTC Very much enjoyed working with both G and T...nice to see some joint maneuvers work out.
21 Mar 18 UTC Turkey...you do know you were supposed to take Trieste...:)
21 Mar 18 UTC Good game everyone!

My strategy was to use straight up aggression and leave Scandinavia to Russia for the most part. Overall, I'd say it worked out pretty well, despite some serious tactical blunders on my part and determined resistance from France.
21 Mar 18 UTC All worthy reasons:) can be a monopolizer of time, though Germany and I had quite the battle looming, while russia just slizzered away to a Solo. good game everyone
21 Mar 18 UTC My sincere apologies for missing the latter part of the game. Work came up and I couldn’t get back in time.
21 Mar 18 UTC The tide would have turned against France I think. I was headed for north Atlantic.
21 Mar 18 UTC Yes. It was a good fun game.
21 Mar 18 UTC Russia, it was a pleasure working with ya. Nice work at the end France, you really outguessed me and I would've been hurting had the game gone on much longer.
21 Mar 18 UTC And yes, I thought I was onto a Lepanto until Austria decided to go for Venice. Why that kind of thing keeps happening is beyond me. Austria should feel lucky to have at least one friend.
21 Mar 18 UTC Good game though, congrats to the survivors :)
21 Mar 18 UTC That was a strange move indeed. In both gunboat I've played here, Austria got big and proceeded to alienate Italy, spelling their doom.
21 Mar 18 UTC Trieste -- I saw the supports after the order. But if you were going to go for a solo, that would have been a good turn to stab. Plus I didnt want to attack you (jic). I thought youd leave it alone until this turn, but when you went in I decided to use the turn to start setting a little better defensive base. Probably couldnt have stopped you with unlimited time, but I was going to try to slow it anyways.

Pleasure playing with you. This was my first gunboat game as Turkey. Since my natural instict is to ally Russia, I think Ank-Con may be a better open than the more common Ank-Bla. I will have to think about it.

21 Mar 18 UTC I definitely shouldn't have done that. I've learned my lesson for the future, though!
