27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: I had typed that out before, it just seems I decided not to send that message
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: I do believe that Russia said they didn't want me to grow in power. Not that they wanted to eliminate me.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: LOL this game
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: I'm fine with Turkey in the game or out. Everyone else might retaliate if Turkey is eliminated though. They were pretty adamant I let Turkey live
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Italy was apparently on about it... I don't think Italy will be retaliating any time soon
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Italy wanted me dead. Italy wanted to break their agreement with me, and did so repeatedly. It was by Russia's good graces that I survived. Only to be stabbed again by a different ally.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Heh, perhaps now you feel the way I did when you took Rumania from me. I guess I should just claim that since our alliance wasn't spoken, it never existed?
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: I'll be leaving Istanbul this turn... but I won't be bouncing any units there. If Russia or Egypt moves there, that's that...
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: I think I get what your referencing, when I attacked you all those years ago. But now is different, we made an explicit agreement. And also, thank you. I should count my self lucky that I get to keep this little plot of land.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: So now the question is: Do I build a fleet so I can help y'all fight back against Egypt?
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Yes. Both Russia and Ukraine can build fleets now as well. The naval control of the Mediterranean shifts in the direction of the Alliance.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: That's some retreat Egypt.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: @ Russia & Ukraine: I don't want there to be bad blood between us. I won't attack you in retribution for what y'all did. I understand why you did it, and am thankful you chose to let me stay. I will be building a fleet, assuming I have your permission, & use it to help beat back Egypt. All I ask for is your word that you won't attack me like this again.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Turkey I'm happy you are building a fleet and will not move on your last SC. I'll happily support you as you venture against Egypt.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Thank you! :)
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: @ Ukraine: Now that it is builds do I have your consent to build a fleet & your word that you wont take Istanbul while my fleet is away?
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: You're free to do whatever. I just expect you to not turn on us
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: No, I will not be taking Istanbul
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: You have my word.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Poland are you using auv for barcelona? im quite confused.
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: "(To: Global, from Poland) - [skip] In fact I'm fine with you being in Auv long-term, I just need to borrow it for a season ;)"
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: I needed it to open up Marseilles. I wasn't sure where Egypt would try to move to, so moving to a spot they couldnt block was needed. I was expecting a stab at Monaco, which would have bounced Piedmont, so if I was trying to move Marseilles there it would have been a massive failure. Now I get to pop out a fleet in Marseilles. I'm moving my army back there ASAP
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Didn't want to forecast all that though, sorry for the surprise!
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: @Turkey I would appreciate it if you readied up :)
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Ready up Turkey
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Lol of course someone already said ready up. That's what happens when you leave your screen open for a few hours. Sorry Turkey
27 Mar 18 UTC Autumn, 2006: Sorry I was in class.
27 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 2007: Turkey, I'd love support to that yonder Aegean Sea from Greece
28 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 2007: Excellent!
28 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 2007: I think you got your wires crossed, Turkey... lol
28 Mar 18 UTC Spring, 2007: Oh, I did. Oops? I thought I was going to the Aegean Sea.
29 Mar 18 UTC Lets take out turkey and draw
29 Mar 18 UTC The number of points some one gets from takeing me out is minuscule. Might as well draw now.

The number of points to gain from you on the other hand...
29 Mar 18 UTC I'm honestly still fine drawing now
29 Mar 18 UTC A campaign against Egypt will be long and time-consuming
29 Mar 18 UTC Never removed my draw vote so we're just waiting on whoever (unless Egypt is lying again)
29 Mar 18 UTC I drew.
29 Mar 18 UTC Good game
29 Mar 18 UTC Aw i really wanted to do that campaign against egypt.
29 Mar 18 UTC Should've retracted your vote... or told me not to vote
29 Mar 18 UTC Damn. Great game. I was getting excited with me new fleet in Adana.
29 Mar 18 UTC So who was it that withheld their draw. I know I did for quite a long time.
29 Mar 18 UTC I did for a while as well, and apparently Egypt did too
29 Mar 18 UTC GG!
29 Mar 18 UTC I removed mine after things went south with Italy. After it became clear at LEAST one person wasn't gonna draw, I didn't want Italy off the hook. Put my draw back in as soon as they were eliminated.
29 Mar 18 UTC If we'd kept going there was a good chance I would have finally stabbed Ukraine. I had been waiting to since you took Bielo lol. If your units stayed south or moved further that way I think I'd have made some great gains.

Anyone else planning any long-con stabs or the like?
29 Mar 18 UTC I debated stabbing Ukraine to avenge my comrades in CRP every single turn. It was going to happen, but I was worried that would cause tension between my good friend Poland and myself. Egypt was an interesting adversary though and held my attention so I delayed that plan.
29 Mar 18 UTC I'm incredibly surprised that I lived as long as I did. This is why I like public messaging; you can't get reassurance to do something without letting everyone know. And all your agreements are public too.
29 Mar 18 UTC Yeah. I made the game that way specifically because I find it to be a more interesting dynamic than the standard cloak-and-dagger.

I was legit never going to attack Russia or Britain. Everyone else was a possibility to me.
31 Mar 18 UTC i never thought about attacking russia or poland throughout the game. yea i didnt think about withdrawing my draw vote. darn.
