Autumn, 1902: England, lets move all out against Germany
Autumn, 1902: France, I was just about to propose the same. Burgundy is critical for you and moving out of it would be crazy. I totally forgot this game had public messaging... I'm moving all out against Germany in the north and my English Channel fleet is just going to be holding there. I can lend you support into Belgium if you want it?
Autumn, 1902: Let me know how I can help.
Autumn, 1902: Holland will support Belgium, so there is no point to attack it. In spring we are better positioned.
Autumn, 1902: Alright, I'll hold off until then. Let me know if I can assist anywhere else this turn.
Autumn, 1902: Come on fra eng ger! The world is seeking peace... What would you gain from a bloody war? Let s be friends, hug each other and pray for eternal peace. From now on Turkey will focus on education and art...
Autumn, 1902: A French and English partnership never works out. And attacking your territory? The only things Burgandy couldve done that turn were move to Ruhr or defend Belgium, both of which were bad for me. If you want to use that as a reason to team up for a few years, be my guest, but it's hardly a good one
Autumn, 1902: French and English partnerships always work out. Ever heard of WWII? :P And Turkey, I'll be your friend too. Hugs and peace and education and art sound good to me. |
|
Spring, 1903: Hello again my dear English friend! Can you support me from Bur to Belg?
Spring, 1903: Hey turkey, how about we have some peace while I go help Germany out with this bully France
Spring, 1903: Sry Italy, I did not know that you will move to east.
Spring, 1903: Italy you have the best cuisine here, deliver me from this baguette
Spring, 1903: France, support from Bur to Belg is all set!
Spring, 1903: England, how you gonna do me like that? I could've bounced you out of Sweden in 1902, but I retreated to let you have it.
Spring, 1903: Eng s eyeing st peters... :D
Spring, 1903: Hi Ger, Are you not pressing ready just to annoy Fra and Eng? :)
Autumn, 1903: Nah, I just have very limited time as of late and need to make sure the rounds go to full usually! Sorry for the delays
Autumn, 1903: With his dying breath, AH says - watch out for the Eng Fra coop, it may be the death of you all.
Spring, 1904: Hey France, just FYI: I have Eng Chan set to support hold Bel.
Autumn, 1904: Turkey, retreat from Black Sea and I'll stop attacking Rumania. By forcing me to fight over Rum/Sevast, you're throwing the game to England.
Autumn, 1904: Retreat from what? U serious?
Autumn, 1904: Yeah, I am. You may not have noticed, but I supported Black Sea for several rounds in the hopes that youd take that as a friendly overture. If you wanna waste your time on Sevast, though, be my guest.
Autumn, 1904: I mean it looks like it's England's game either way with France choosing to scrap with me :D
Autumn, 1904: @Germany- you invaded France, took Paris, and are probably going to retreat into Brest. How does that translate to France "choosing to scrap" with you??
Autumn, 1904: I mean of course I'm retreating to Brest! I had to answer aggression with Aggression, just means you get to clean house and sweep Russia unopposed
Spring, 1905: New France here
Autumn, 1905: Hey russia, you won’t have to worry about me taking Vienna. I’m going for turkey since he attacked me in Ionian earlier
Autumn, 1905: I didnt attack you, I just went fishing :)
Autumn, 1905: And craved some pizza napolitana
Autumn, 1905: You are welcome for some baclava :D
Autumn, 1905: You attacked me in Naples even when I asked you for peace
Autumn, 1905: Hey New France. I'll continue to support hold Belgium unless I can help elsewhere.
Autumn, 1905: Thanks | |
Spring, 1907: France, sooner or later, england will go for a solo. And I would not blame him. You are wide open :)
Autumn, 1907: You're not leaving me much choice here, Turkey.
Autumn, 1907: What do you mean?
Spring, 1908: Happy new year everyone!! Best wishes
Spring, 1908: By attacking Budapest, you're forcing me to abandon Warsaw and hand it to England. Your short-term gain is helping England to go solo.
Spring, 1908: It s ok | |
Spring, 1908: Yeah I'm sure it's fine!
Spring, 1908: So, you all basically blame england expension on me? I am not your ally, had no alliances, backstabbed nobody, and owe you nothing... what if I am ok with England winning it? If you did not make it, blame nobody but you...
Spring, 1908: "What if I'm okay with losing?"
Spring, 1908: lol, if you aren't going to make alliances, you've missed the point of Diplomacy entirely. Also, there's no second place for solo wins. If you don't force a draw, you lose like everyone else.
Spring, 1908: Like me! | |
Spring, 1908: 100% on Turkey's side in this discussion. I haven't seen Russia or Germany make a single attempt to make an alliance in this game. Original France and I made an alliance early on and no one else even attempted to talk to their neighbors to stop us. Turkey is further away from me than anyone else. Russia boxed Turkey in and then complained when Turkey attacked him as Russia was crumbling. I didn't see any effort on Russia's or Germany's part to create an alliance to stop the early England/France alliance.
Spring, 1908: See Spring 1903. Turkey was not boxed in, I had never attacked, but Turkey still decided to go after Sevastopol. I'm not mad about that. Stabbing happens. It's refusing to read the board to see where the game is headed that baffles me. |
|
Spring, 1908: That s not stabbing, that is playing the game... You were never my ALLY to call it stabbing... How am I supposed to expand if I dont attack anybody? Get over it seriously or this game is not for you... seriously |
|
Autumn, 1908: You are Russia... if you speak about reading the game... why did not you ally with Germany to counterbalance Eng-Fra alliance? Replay you first moves up north in the early game to see how badly you played there... |
|
Autumn, 1908: ... you even lately destroyed the unit in the SC the closest to nation you claim I indirectly helping them to win the game...
Autumn, 1908: I cant believe I am having this discussion... I m out... |
