04 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Kind of disappointed, Russia NMR'd. I hope it's just a fluke.
04 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Sorry all.
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Privyet, comrades! New Russia here to make sure turns happen in a timely manner...
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: That'd be nice!
16 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Thanks for helping us out
16 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Thanks, New Russia!
19 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: I put my moves in at 1 hour before. I don't understand
19 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: You might want to PM a mod. I saw your box checked, so I believe you.
19 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: I also saw it checked
19 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Just have so I'll see what they say.
21 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Moderator: (bo_sox48): We are pausing this game while we look into the fall moves. We do not know yet if there was a site issue or whether or not this is a false alarm. I'll unpause it when we find out.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Moderator: (Hellenic Riot): I have unpaused this game as our investigation is complete, and we have not found any site issue. Thank you for your patience.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: So it looks like I submitted my order on my desktop and then my phone overwrote them
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Bummer.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: That sucks, Germany. Sorry to hear that.
22 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: its OK but one to look out for. I usually only use my phone to make sure I don't NMR when out as the small screen not great to check. Its either that or Turkey hacked my account ;-)
23 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Germany, do not forget to send your orders:)
23 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1906: OK they are in and I taken a screen shot to prove it :-)
23 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1906: i sent order to my hacker-janissaries.
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Apulia is moving to Venice.
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: Wrong tab, Italy?
25 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1906: No, just making a public announcement.
04 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: So Turkey you have effectively dragged the rug under the feet of this defense. Seriously what the point, England will get the solo before you.
04 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: Venice was empty. What You have suggested?
04 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: bounce it
04 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: And Venice wouldn't have been empty if you hadn't taken Warsaw.
04 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: sorry! my forces are supporting Berlin, Munich, Naples and Rome. you cant get more centers, England. its time to accept draw, Austria and England.
04 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1910: Not yet. I can still see a path to victory. When that path closes, I'll accept the draw.
05 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1911: good luck!
05 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1912: These Italian home centers sure are comfy :>
05 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1912: The food is a lot better than in Austria, that's for sure.
07 Dec 17 UTC Autumn, 1912: I failed, sry
07 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1913: England winning because of two turkey NMRs is really upsetting. I'd appreciate you drawing anyway!
07 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1913: I thought, it was my first NMR?
07 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1913: Hm, seems so, I must be confusing this with another game. Still though, England wouldnt have breached Munich =\
07 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1913: lol at the idea that england should vote draw.
07 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1913: Didn't know dead countries could talk!
07 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1913: Although, I can appreciate your ire at Turkey. I won't be voting for a draw in a game I was going to win eventually anyways. With only Bohemia and Silesia to protect Munich and Berlin, it was only a matter of time before I guessed right and got one of them. So yeah I'm going to finish this.
08 Dec 17 UTC Spring, 1913: I disagree, you have spent two years trying to break us and it didn't work. Waiting for someone to NMR or boring us to death is not an acceptable tactic in the game. It frustrating getting so close but not finishing, but its part of the game and to get a Solo on the back on NMR is not winning.
08 Dec 17 UTC We'll just have to agree to disagree. You guys did not have a stalemate line. If I'm going for a solo and my opponents don't have a stalemate line, I'm going to keep playing.

As far as "boring you to death" being an unacceptable tactic. If you think being patient and tenacious is an unacceptable tactic, I suggest you reexamine what you consider acceptable.

I wasn't particularly frustrated until Turkey NMRd. Frankly, that irritated me. But it was the hand I was dealt. Accepting not getting a solo when you're close is part of the game, so is accepting losing. And you know what else is part of the game— turning in your moves on time.

I didn't cause Turkey to NMR and even though I think you and Austria got a raw deal on it, I refuse to give a draw to a player that can even bother to turn in his moves on time. I will not reward Turkey and punish myself because you and Austria got screwed, because I'm not the one that screwed you— Turkey is.

If you don't think I deserve to win, feel free to curse me out, but while you're at it, save some curses for the player that actually caused your demise.
08 Dec 17 UTC yeah, all blame me:(
08 Dec 17 UTC England, you deserved to win. I cant understand bitterness.
09 Dec 17 UTC There could have been a stalemate line of Austria hadn't immediately grabbed my centers when I walked away from him to counter England in the Western med. Congrats to England though, a deserved Soo. The timing of the stab on Germany was perfect.
09 Dec 17 UTC Thanks, Italy and Turkey.

And I thought there were a couple of times where you guys could have formed a stalemate line against me, the easiest being right after I stabbed Germany. I really thought that might have been the end of the game, but old animosities kept people fighting long enough for me to get into position.

Later on, if Turkey had allowed Germany to take a center or two behind the line, it would have allowed Turkey to cram armies up to the stalemate line without having to worry about destroying German units by running over empty centers like Warsaw and Venice. It was that "hole" in the stalemate line at Warsaw that made me believe I could win. Anyways GG all!
10 Dec 17 UTC I owe England an apology, I thought we had done enough to warrant the draw but I was wrong. Well played England, looks like you didn't stab too early either :-)
10 Dec 17 UTC Apology accepted. I thought you played well. You surprised me a few times and you were a good ally. Sorry about the stab, but we're all trying to win :)
