21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Moderator: (Peregrine Falcon): Welcome to your Study Group game!

For reference, here's the thread in which the Professors will be posting their commentary:
http://www.webdiplomacy.net/forum.php?viewthread=1516035#1516035

You are all now assigned to the proper countries.

I will unpause the game and turn on press tomorrow at approximately 09:00 Eastern Daylight time (currently UTC-4), so that everyone has an equal chance of being ready to start.
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Moderator: (Peregrine Falcon): Press has been turned on, and the game has been unpaused. Good luck everyone!
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Have fun and don't allow cocky CB to solo!
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Oh, the game started a day earlier than I expected - I'll send press in a couple of hours. Have fun everyone
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Have a good'un ladies and gents!
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck all but CB.
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Let’s keep this interesting for the spectators and profs:

My name is CommanderByron
I’m a restaurant manager by day and bad ass webDip player by night.
I love good books, warm tea, and feeling my enemies writhing beneath my feet.

My idols include JFK, Alexander Hamilton, and Bill Cosby (Redacted) / and Louis CK
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Because CB needs no luck ;)

Just because he's started it, why not...

My name is Kench
I'm a lobbying consultant who's decided they want to retrain as a primary school teacher and been dabbling with Diplomacy for the last few years/

I'm also a limey/redcoat/scurvy Brit - but don't hold it against me...
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Hey guys, best of luck! Looking forward to probably getting my ass kicked.
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: I decided going back some pages to find my mod-team introduction to copy-paste was better than typing a new one:

You may call me Claesar and while I feel very young, I consider myself wise beyond my years. My only flaw is that I should really say 'no' more often. Futhermore, I do not hold a PhD in Chemistry.

My hobbies include Diplomacy, thankless jobs and hunting cheaters.
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Since you are working on saying no... maybe I can help.

Can I have London?
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck everyone!
21 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Yes, you can have London. It's a silly place.
22 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Hi everyone! I just scanned players profiles and realized that I am the only newb in here. Care me please!
22 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1901: and this is my first game that I received press from everyone else before the game started. please don't forget this Germany is everyone's friend and a ally!
24 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Well, me too then ... just because they started it ;-)

Sevyas here. I am a social worker. And I started playing around with some computer version of Diplomacy in the mid 90s, then re-discovered the game years later as a facebook app, and really started to play diplomacy over here about 5 years ago.
English is not my primary language, so please don't hold it against me if I sometimes use strange words or phrases, or ask you to reformulate something I did not understand
26 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: My messages will be shorter and less frequent. Don't be alarmed; I'm on a mini-holiday. Please take/keep an active role in pressing me. I will reply soon.
30 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: hot Munich, hot hot
30 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Moderator: (Peregrine Falcon): Italy has requested a pause. They've had a family emergency.
30 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Moderator: (Peregrine Falcon): The game will tentatively be unpaused on Wednesday.
