25 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1995: RIP: Egypt 1994-1995
"He was taken too soon"
26 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1995: OOC question, there's a game mechanic I don't understand. Here's one of my orders from last turn: "The fleet at Aegean Sea convoy to Greece from Izmir. (fail)" - does anyone know why it failed?
26 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1995: You didn't order to move your army from Izmir to Greece using the convoy option.
26 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1995: OOC: Oh, okay, so it takes two separate orders... thank-you. Well I'll have to do something else with them now anyway.
27 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1995: OOC: Oh, okay, so it takes two separate orders... thank-you. Well I'll have to do something else with them now anyway.
27 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1995: I formally annul the Russia-Turkey Treaty of 1994.
30 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1996: Public Announcement: Spain-Turkey Peacekeeping Coalition of 1996. Egypt is in a state of leaderless anarchy. Spain and Turkey will be coordinating their troops to bring stability to the region:
* Spain to control Libya and Alexandria.
* Turkey to control Cairo and Aswan.
* Non-aggression pact between Spain and Turkey, which will expire in Autumn 2006.
31 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1997: The time it has taken for you weaklings to destroy our petty country is astoundingly disappointing.

You should all be ashamed.
31 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1997: I blame the economy
01 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1997: With France's unofficial surrender, accordance with the 1995 Treaty of Denmark, Germany will henceforth move out of the English Channel and not venture therein without proper consultation with English diplomats.
01 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1997: Denmark will subsequently be ceded to England after the annexation of France by Germany as also recognized by the 1995 Treaty of Denmark.
01 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1997: While the War Against French Aggression has subsided with the capitulation of Lyon to Spanish troops, the German people still hope that the cordial relationships with their long time southern neighbors and allies in Italy, and their new neighbors in Spanish occupied France continues into the foreseeable future.
01 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1997: Spain is publicly declaring its alliance with Germany.
02 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Germany will add the agreed upon terms of the alliance.

- Germany will ally with Spain if England invades
- Pic and Als become a demilitarized zone
02 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Germany also according to the terms of The 1995 Treaty of Denmark will move out of Denmark this fall for British occupation as promised thus concluding their side of the Treaty.
02 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: With the War Against French Aggression Subsided, the non aggression pact with England no longer stands, however, Germany hopes for continued cooperative relationship with England on their shared front on the belligerent Russia, no matter what happens around the Western Territories.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: France bids goodbye, fellow nations. We apologise for losing our fighting spirit so quickly; it was not our intention to slow down proceedings.

However, we are unspeakably glad to be gone. Perhaps, before killing each other to the ends of the Earth, you will finally agree to simply live and let live. But France doubts this outcome.

We wish the best of luck to our kindly neighbours, Spain, Germany and Britain.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Due to the continued aggression of Ukraine and Russia towards the nation of Turkey, and their inability to honour treaties and agreements, Turkey formally declares war on the Russia/Ukraine/Italy alliance.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Spain, as a symbol of friendship, declares war on Italy also.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Spain additionally declares war on the United Kingdom of the British Isles and Scandinavia, due to repeated warnings against aggression in the Gibraltar region.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: The Kingdom of Italy recognizes the United Kingdom of the British Isles and Scandinavia's sovereignty over the Gibraltar region, and declares war against the Kingdom of Spain over the unlawful seizure of British, French and African territories.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: African? Egypt was, and still is, in a state of leaderless anarchy. The Egyptian president and prime minister are nowhere to be found. My and Turkey's planned seizure of those territories is nothing but an attempt to bring stability to the region.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: With Ukrainian belligerence, Germany is hard pressed to maintain the sovereignty and land of their Polish allies and will not take part in this Turkish backed farce. As the alliance with Spain was of an ENGLISH invasion only, Germany will continue to occupy ENGLISH territory but will not take part in any ITALIAN aggression.

The German people wish for a balanced and peaceful Europe, not a fractured squabble of nations lining up to be devoured by an eastern beast. Whether that beast is a Russian bear or a Turkish tiger is yet to be seen.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Your excuses are a poor consolation to the unfortunate African nations you are taking by force in your quest for world domination.
03 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: Spain has brought peace and stability to Tunisia and Libya.
04 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1997: W-well, I mean, if you wanted France to enjoy the Draw. You guys could still yet vote to Draw, before we're *technically* dissolved.
05 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1998: I understand that we were not formidable at the least and i accept my fate (as does ukraine). our rotting corpses can now be taken without the movement of our troops, it may determine the winner as i hope it does
05 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1998: Well I've been down now,
like I never got started,
guess you want your world just a certain way
06 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1998: And I could tell you this,
I've been outsmarted,
and that hurts me more, than it hurts me how much I miss...
08 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1998: Is basically everyone wanting this to end except me?
08 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1998: I just hit "draw" because everyone else was doing it
09 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1999: It was the fashionable thing to do
09 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1999: I am pleased to announce the 1999 Turkey-Poland nonaggression pact, to last until Spring 2014 or until an undisclosed condition occurs. Poland will not interfere with Turkey's acquisition on the remaining Ukrainian territories. Turkey will not impede the movement of Polish forces. If the undisclosed condition occurs, Poland will relinquish Kiev to Turkey.
11 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: I wish players wouldn't drop out. Don't they understand the "diplomacy" bit of Diplomacy?
12 Nov 17 UTC Autumn, 1999: It is clear that I lost now that Germany and Poland have started their conquest against me. I'll keep holding my remaining grounds untill Turkey comes, after which I will give up my territorries to him, as he's tho only one that hasn't openly fought me and IMO deserves the win.

Have a fun day,
Britain
13 Nov 17 UTC Apart from Greece, the war is over, and therefore I am at the limit of my legal expansion. I am prepared to hold for now and respect the treaties I have made (but of course contact me if you have any requests or offers)
13 Nov 17 UTC Germany respects Britain's request, but will none the less continue taking their territory to prevent a country from winning just because his neighbors didn't know how support moves work. The representative from Germany, would also like to add that even if Turkey won, this will under no circumstance be a shared victory with the countries Turkey has allied with (no matter how England tries to spin his "valiant" struggle to weaken the unity of the remaining countries), and would like other countries to think on that, at least until Germany falls and any hope at another country winning is dashed.
15 Nov 17 UTC And just as quickly as it started the great war is over. The results of the great war will forever be felt in the creation of the new Turkish Republic, modelled after the Ottoman Empire which fell less than a century ago.

The Spanish, German, and Polish peoples decided to formalize their alliance with each other and decided to pool resources to help in the rebuilding effort.

After 6 years, the world will never be the same. Alliances were made, countries were backstabbed, and land was forcefully taken. In the end, who really won the game of diplomacy?
15 Nov 17 UTC Turkey. Definitely Turkey.
16 Nov 17 UTC Didn't expect the draw already, but thanks Geodude for allowing me to participate in this game. I learned a lot by playing with you guys and now know that I shouldn't always try to attack, as retreats can backstab you really good...
