14 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1908: Moderator: (Claesar): Please do not vote to Draw, Cancel or Unpause in the mean time. It is fine to leave your vote if it was already there before I paused the game.
20 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1908: Moderator: (Claesar): After an in-depth cheating investigation we have found no evidence of metagaming. However, previous France has been replaced at his own request. Welcome, new France!

Game unpaused and extra time added. We hope you all have fun!
15 Nov 17 UTC Good game everyone. Nice coordination at the end there.
15 Nov 17 UTC Good game France. Good game everyone.
15 Nov 17 UTC valiant effort France, I'm glad we got our act together for the draw!
15 Nov 17 UTC Well played Turkey. I was always going to stop France in time :) Just wanted to minimise the chance of a "two candidate for solo" scenario before setting up stalemate.
15 Nov 17 UTC Yeah, I thought about drawing out the game for another year to see if I could convince Turkey to go for the 2WD, but decided it was unlikely, and not worth the wait.
15 Nov 17 UTC Yeah I've been guarding against the risk of a Turkey stab too given Bud and Ser were never DMZ (as you can see from my moves to Vie and Tri). At the end it appeared to me that it would be too risky for Turkey to stab so I was comfortable in getting back to BoH.
15 Nov 17 UTC I took Spain knowing that it would be temporary to get a build at Nap to guard against Turkey stab.
15 Nov 17 UTC this game is a good argument for Draw size scoring vs. Sum of Squares ... had we been in SSq, it would have been an incentive to me to try to sieze a couple of Italian centers at the bitter end, while in this variant it was better for me to stick with Italy
15 Nov 17 UTC Yeah..although in a SoS, the power that has 17 supplies gets about 70% of the coins, which means you probably would have ended up with less coins than a draw size even if some of Italy's supplies were taken at the end.

By the way, I was the one who reported the game to the Mods, the old France's moves were just too wierd. Thanks Peregrine for stepping in.
15 Nov 17 UTC Hey, clearly it turned out well for me. :)
15 Nov 17 UTC Your reward is well deserved!
