22 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Good luck everyone
22 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1901: Greetings everyone. I see we have begun a new European conflict.
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Wow, can't say I've seen a first turn process so fast. I just got home from work, sent a few notes out, and bang, here we are.
22 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: That's all good, by the way.
23 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1901: Pause for Turkey?
01 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Hi Guys, new Turkey here. Give me a few moments to see what's been happening and I'll get to you asap. Please remember it's Sunday evening for me. So please don't be disturbed if I am a bit slow; I'm using cognac and chocolate to try to forget I work tomorrow.
01 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Thank you for joining - hope you enjoy the game (and cognac, and chocolate.)
03 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: greetings everyone, new brits here)) ale, fish and chips for everyone ! )
03 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Thanks for joining (and for ale!)
03 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Speaking from a culinary standpoint, I'm going to be supporting France.
05 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: As Russia, I really have nothing to offer in the culinary world. Somehow Borscht (sp?) sounds like a baby puking. I going with Italian.
05 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: as a native Russian i can assure you good cooked borsch is very tasty and
Fullfiling, though usually served with sour cream ain't kosher, simple caviar with pancakes is also awesome, though expensive meal, or was it just a hint of Russian- Italian alliance )
05 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: ?
05 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: ENGLAND IS RUSSIAN DOUBLE-AGENT! (jk)
05 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Just googled Borsch, and now I want some....this game is making me hungry.
06 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1904: Borsch is popular in south russia. I live in north Russia and eat it seldom.
06 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1904: Fleets are most popular it seems - get ready for naval warfare )
06 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1904: Tell me, Italy, what does one eat in Northern Russia? I am English, and I love a good Cornish Pasty...
06 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1904: Is that what the fleet's doing, spying out the best landing spots for pasty shops?
06 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1904: 'tis merely a merchant vessel, en route to offer French wares in exchange for pasties.
06 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1904: Ahh! A merchant vessel, no use for beach landings. It will have to dock in Liverpool then. The port is full of merchant ships.
08 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1904: BREAKING NEWS: TURKISH ARMY INVADES RUSSIA TO SECURE BORSCH SUPPLIES.

Turkish leader said to be "mad for borsch." Greek and Sebian leaders issue statements declaring "Our food is awful, we do not recommend it."
09 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Italy: How long do you need the pause for?
10 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (peterwiggin): I've paused this game by request. If this is a problem, please email me at webdipmod@gmail.com
11 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Thank you very much for the pause
11 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: We can continue
11 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Thank
16 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Moderator: (dargorygel): Unpausing this game. The time will be set for a full turn.
16 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: thank you Mod. :)
22 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: I don't know what's worse playing with people who CD. Or playing with people who sulk, get bored and enter hold moves.
Can we all please kill off Italy and Russia and all hit draw? I don't think any other result could be considered fair or honourable.
25 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1906: I am truly sorry. I was so sick this weekend I literally did not get out of bed Sunday (O.K., I crawled to the bathroom a few times). Yes, kill me off. Again, I am very sorry.
25 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Hope you recovered, it's just a game anyway )
25 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Crawling to the bathroom is a good reason. Hope you are fine now.
26 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1906: I am OK. Just realizing I need to play 3 day deadline games, not 24 hours (ha ha). Unfortunately, my points and my reliability are going to be about 0.
26 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1906: I don't think I have ever seen so many hold and NMRs in one single turn. It is really sad.
26 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1906: I didn't see much promise or anything better for my individual unit. Looks like Turkey will win the race to Warsaw.
03 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1908: I totally agree with Turkey's sentiment. I got totally sick (hospital) during this game and was not able to communicate that. However, I have been in many games where there was no reason given for dropping out (kind of a contradiction there, anyway).
12 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1909: Sorry Germany, England has played a very poor game. I cannot allow such ridiculous behaviour to be rewarded. Unfortunately that cuts you out too.
13 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1909: England asks what could have been done to stop the solo.

Fall 1906 I stabbed Austria, and set him on course for extinction. That should have been an enormous wake up to England. Worst case would have been a four way keeping Austria in with a unit or two. The fleets should have headed south. Army Swe going to Nor to close the Scandinavian door. Germany should have been supported, so he could close the Ber/Mun line instead of having to fight for his dots.

Even in S08 it was not too late. Den to Bal to give support would have been enough. Even in F08 Eng was still going for Bel instead of Mao and Spa - Wes would have given Austria the extra unit he needed and kept me from moving past Tun.

All it needed was a little teamwork.
13 Nov 17 UTC Spring, 1909: ok, gg )
