Congratulations to shield, TheWizard, and DeltaAjaxNiner for sweeping the podium at EDC 2019!
Spring, 1999: Hello and good luck, everyone!
Spring, 1999: Yes - what California said ^^ So, who is all planning to move to Canada? BC and Que need to plan for this :) |
|
Spring, 1999: Lol BC and Que should get ready for mass immigration?
Spring, 1999: I already live in Canada ^u^
Spring, 1999: Well, IRL I'm already Canadian, but for some reason I'm in exile in Peru right now ;^)
Spring, 1999: hey there seems to be a few of us Canadians on here. Peru - i heard you are planning on taking over the map even though Peru doesn't sound like a bad place to be exiled to
Spring, 1999: Yes these Peruvian mountains are helpful for the view. From the top of Macchu Picchu, I can almost see all the way to Vancouver and Montreal...
Spring, 1999: I'm just worried about that next damn hurricane!
Spring, 2000: it seemed to smash flordia so hard that they couldn't even mobilize new armed forces units!
Spring, 2000: hmm - anybody smell anything fishy? Florida - 3 builds, strong position, ....???
Spring, 2000: Looks like they forgot to check the site. I doubt this is a secret technique.
Spring, 2000: My wifi wasn't working... Well, there's this game out the window.
Spring, 2000: that would explain lack of a hello and diplomacy then too haha ... darn technology.
Autumn, 2000: Hey NY. I know you have two days to decide where to build things and all. But, it looks like you already decided. I'd really like it if you didn't take the whole two days. So could you please ready up?
Spring, 2001: If I feel like it i'll ready up - remember that some players like to engage in diplomacy and also some players pick 2 day deadlines on purpose to NOT have a highly fast paced game because of their lives outside of diplomacy ... suggest not playing in diplomacy games with 2 day deadlines if you don';t like 2 day deadlines.
Spring, 2001: Your absolutely right, it's up to you. Though I feel that there's not much diplomacy you can do during the build phase. And yeah, I get why people wouldn't like the 2 day phases. I'm not trying to tell you how to play, just what I'd appreciate.
Spring, 2001: i hear you -- i just took the time as crazy at work and also had friend coming into town
Spring, 2001: there is diplomacy going on ... not with everyone but with some :-)
Spring, 2001: Yeah. If you need to use the whole time, defiantly do.
Autumn, 2001: wasn't meaning to be a pain -t hx for understanding florida player even more to blame for using up entire phases with zero intent to even play. cheers florida - it was wonderful, cough, talking to you ;-) |
|
Autumn, 2001: this game is getting more and more interesting ...
Autumn, 2001: Hey New floridA here!
Autumn, 2001: welcome!
Autumn, 2002: New New York has joined the game
Autumn, 2002: Welcome | |
Autumn, 2002: New Quebec here, ay
Autumn, 2002: Welcome and hello!
Autumn, 2003: New BC here looking for some friends and a way to stay in this game, I don't know the history of this game but wanting to help anyone that makes sense
Spring, 2005: Cali... can you please finalize your orders.
Spring, 2006: Would folks be willing to vote for a pause to the game for a bit? I've had some RL personal stuff come up, and it'll affect my ability to play for a bit
Spring, 2006: Moderator: (bo_sox48): A player has requested a temporary pause. If you object to this pause, please email webdipmod@gmail.com.
Spring, 2006: Moderator: (bo_sox48): Given the circumstances, I have changed the messaging setting so that players cannot conduct any press or have any discussions. This will be reverted when the game is unpaused. It will unpause on Sunday, November 19.
Spring, 2006: Moderator: (bo_sox48): The game has been unpaused and press restored. I reset the phase length to give people time to see the game again. If there is anything else, let me know.
Spring, 2006: Thanks bo_sox. And thanks to everyone else for your patience with the pause. I was dealing with some family health issues, but things are starting to settle back down to normal.
Spring, 2009: Missed the turn nnnnnnn
Spring, 2013: Thanks for playing Cuba, you've been both a strong ally and a tough opponent. :) Well folks, shall we wrap this game up? |
|
Autumn, 2013: I voted to draw - Nice game everyone - well played by all
Autumn, 2013: Fun game lads.
Autumn, 2013: The game didn't end.
Autumn, 2013: Also, yes. It was most interesting.
Autumn, 2013: The game didn't end because BC is still thinking solo (lol) - if he doesn't vote draw, we should all band together and remove him quickly.
Autumn, 2014: Well kudos to BC for lasting as long as they did - that's pretty impressive to go from losing almost all of their home SCs, to 4th place overall.
This has been a really good game - any two of us could blow out the third - I am all for the 3 way draw - peru is in - what do you think TX? |
