09 Sep 17 UTC	Well Russia, at first my plan was to keep you alive and set up a line including Moscow, Warsaw, and Ukraine. You needed St Pete to supply Ukraine and hold the position. Once I was confident you could be safely eliminated, I took StP off your hands
09 Sep 17 UTC	At that point, sure. But in the preceding year, had you pulled out of Finland I'd have gladly redeployed against Turkey. But it's gunboat and you had no way of knowing that!
09 Sep 17 UTC	Turkey, in my experience in both webdip and face-to-face, if an alliance between neighbors doesn't have total trust it will eventually collapse. As long as there are a couple of units within one space of the border, things have the chance to stay cordial. When I saw you build in Ankara in W07 I thought you might come through Armenia so I moved on Ukraine with Warsaw instead of Moscow. When you didn't come east, I figured you wanted me around to continue on as a bulwark against a strong Germany, so I decided to make a show of force against Germany. I just figured you'd telegraph your stab more obviously than you did. So well done!
09 Sep 17 UTC	I see. Had this been a full length game, I probably would have continued along with you. However, since this was a live one, I felt the need to end it more quickly. Anyways, thanks for the great alliance for that first bit.
