11 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Fine with me. Maybe Germany is in the same boat.
11 Sep 17 UTC Spring, 1903: Pause in. If you're not back and Germany hasn't pause I'll ask a mod to do it.
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hmm.. I don't know if anyone would take over this position but maybe we should try to get another Germany?
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Alright, I stalked EVERY PLAYER IN THIS GAME and ALL OF US have been online within the last 24 hours. Whoever CD'd as Germany did so willingly smh
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Without that retreat they're pretty boned, but I'm happy to try.
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I've voted unpause so that this is easy to get rolling when everyone is back.
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: How'd you stalk every player in the game? Isn't this anon?
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: And considering you asked for a pause until Wednesday and then didn't show up until Friday...
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Nevermind, we were waiting for Germany to pause.

This game is taking forever.
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: It was semi-anon, in that the player list was known beforehand. I can't remember them though - England, can you post the list?
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: 1. MrcsAurelius
2. Ezio
3. Rdrivera
4. ckroberts
5. ATC
6. DemonOverlord
7. Hapapop
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Yeah and I would have been happy to give Germany a pause Russia.. I didn't nmr.
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I got all twisted. I thought we were complaining that Germany wasn't unpausing...

I assumed that more invites went out than spots, first come first serve.
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Hello everyone. I am back. My internet came back for good last night, after several false starts.

Are we giving up on Germany, or waiting for a replacement?
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: I vote cancel. :-)
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Happy that you're safe Italy!!
13 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Thanks! It wasn't nearly as bad as people predicted. We didn't even have any real power outages, just some blinking.
15 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1903: Two of the guys who work for me just got power yesterday. As on them put it, electricity is not overrated.
28 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Well played all.
28 Sep 17 UTC Autumn, 1904: Gg Russia
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Oh, well, this is a draw. The game is locked if England and I work together, and if we don't, then Austria gets stabbed by Turkey before he can solo.

The only player who might die is Italy, and I don't have any particular desire to kill them.
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Why would England work with you?
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: The point is it doesn't matter. If they don't, you get stabbed by Turkey before you can solo. This is a draw no matter what, because you've rushed the line early. You've also unnecessarily burnt trust, because you detailed a different plan. I wouldn't have changed my moves if you'd told me yours, so lying this turn doesn't get you anything except lost trust.

It's fine- none of the players feel very invested in this game, so I'm happy to draw it here. If you want to play it out, we can. Personally I'd rather shortcut the four way draw, and draw it now. It also has the advantage that it keeps Italy in the draw- which I would quite like to do.
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Actually, I take that back. If I'd known you were stabbing me, I would definitely have gone to Venice.
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Lol
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Sucks to get stabbed eh France
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: This stab ends the game prematurely. That's what sucks.
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: My game was ended prematurely by stabs, and it sucked.
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: I don't what you expected France, if Austria attacks me or England he will just give a solo to you and he is smart enough to see it. There is no way Austria can aim for a solo from this position (and without fleets) so he choosed the right option. If a stab ended the game early was yours on England as it forced everybody to stop the solo.
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: That's not what he said to me in press.
02 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1905: Anyway, you're right, stabbing England was terrible tactically and strategically.
06 Oct 17 UTC Autumn, 1905: Well, this is an upsetting turn of affairs.
11 Oct 17 UTC Spring, 1906: Draw vote is up, I'm too tired for this game. I'd rather Italy was removed before we actually draw but idgaf anymore.
12 Oct 17 UTC fuck this
12 Oct 17 UTC This game was really fun and then all of a sudden it was extremely terrible.
12 Oct 17 UTC Good times. I have no idea what you were trying to achieve here Austria.
12 Oct 17 UTC Fun working with you RD! I hope to get the opportunity to work with you again.
12 Oct 17 UTC I mixed up hapapop and rd
12 Oct 17 UTC I forgot who I thought was who.

Despite the weird end, I enjoyed this game! Thanks for playing, everyone.
12 Oct 17 UTC I completelly forgot who were in this game.
Ezio it was pretty fun working on an AT with you..
12 Oct 17 UTC Yeah! Your AT was really well made. I liked it.
12 Oct 17 UTC Russia being completelly anti-Turkey helped it a lot :-)
12 Oct 17 UTC I think our EF would have done quite well if I'd stuck to it. But Demon and I didn't agree on the kind of alliance it was going to be, so I thought stabbing her would be more fun.

Spoiler: it was both fun and not fun
12 Oct 17 UTC And ATC I remembered when we played other games a long time ago, your press is really great.
12 Oct 17 UTC That final support of Tri-Ven is hilarious
12 Oct 17 UTC I should have interacted more with E/F in the beginning, but I was too focused in surviving.
ATC, I think if you stayed more one or two years working with England (England missed an incredible opportunity to stab you and she was already ahed of the stalemate, but this is another point) you would have a clear solo run as I will need to attack Austria or England to grow and it will be a lot harder to stop you.
12 Oct 17 UTC I agree, but I really wasn't in this game for a solo. I've played a lot of EFs - and I really wanted to try something different in this game. I originally wanted to go anti-English, but the German made that impossible. So I went for an unusual structure for the EF. England wanted to calm it down and make it more traditional and safe- which is reasonable, but not something I was interested in.
12 Oct 17 UTC If it were a tournament, I would never have stabbed.
12 Oct 17 UTC This is why I like you more in person ATC
12 Oct 17 UTC Thanks for the game and letting me, uh, earn? a place in the draw.

I think England and France both missed solo opportunities, but it doesn't sound like that was on the menu, really.
