17 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: The country of England publicly denounces the countries of Russia and Germany. Evil is afoot.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: i had my archivist rifle through old communiques sent from various foreign powers. at the beginning of this grand campaign i was in open dialogue with england, and we had come to a gentleman's agreement about the north sea being a neutral territory. to quote the english prime minster himself: "I can not agree to the movement of troops into the North Sea and would consider this movement an act of war."

this message was received in the autumn season of the year of our lord, 1901. not six months later, i was awakened from my bedchambers to find a startling message relayed to me - the english had moved their fleet into the north sea, directly violating the gentlemen's agreement we had come to. i had no choice but to trust the judgment of my naval command in ordering a pushback against the english for this egregous display of aggression between our two peoples.

furthermore, the utterly unwarranted agression into belgium is an affront to german and french heritage. historically, the province has been a union of the great cultures of france and germany. at first i accepted this push into belgium as a way to open up a further cultural exchange between us, but it turns out that the english are quick to make promises and break them. at this point i have no choice but to say that it's likely in france and i's best interests to retake the province of belgium to our peoples' control.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Do not listen to what this German scum is preaching. He is trying to persuade you from not attacking in this crucial moment where he seeks to expand into foreign land and is weak to counter attacks. He has surely formed an alliance with Russia and needs to be dealt with swiftly for all of our sakes.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: dO nOt LiStEn To WhAt ThIs GeRmAn ScUm Is PrEaChInG.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: my most sincere apologies, it has come to my attention that a young and ambitious communications officer took it upon himself to try to disgrace the world by responding to one of our powerful natives in a mocking tone. that officer has been relieved of his duty and i apologize for the embarassment caused.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Notice that non of what I said previously was denied. Actions must be taken for the good of the world.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: second note: the author of the first apology has been sacked for saying 'natives' instead of 'neighbors'. the people who were responsible for sacking the first person have also been sacked.

we need to start paying more
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: it is indeed telling, that none of what I also said previously was denied. what kind of leader gives his word, breaks it half a year later, then gets upset at someone for fighting back in a war they clearly started?
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: I realize that this is a classic case of he said she said but I can assure you that everything that he is saying is purely propaganda. Also on a side note, Hitler is alive and well in Germany at this point and we could all prevent his terrible acts if we band together.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: russia holds twice the supply centers of every other country, and is being supported by both germany on turkey in attacks on two fronts. are you both content being pawns?
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Aww, don't lash out Austria, it makes you look weak.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: Aww, don't lash out Austria, it makes you look weak.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: just to indulge the english in their slander, i had some subordinates look for anyone on staff with the name 'hitler' in our armed services and found nothing. the records are current as of september the 11th of this year, 1902. judging by all of the bluster coming from across the english channel, i'd imagine this was meant as an insult towards my people.
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: i thought i had a friend in austria - since the very moment it looked like conflict might be brewing between our nationstates, i assured him of a pact of neutrality, citing tyrolia, bohemia, and silesia as the buffer zone between us, an agreement that we have both followed to a t, i might add. if he felt he was threatened by the russians, he should have spoken up.

i have sent three communiques to my friends in austria, all three of which were responded to by terse and stilted replies. at that point i realized he was not up for conversation between our people, which is fine by those of us in germany as we're not much for useless chatter but to then insinuate that i was somehow backstabbing him without having moved a single unit across our neutral zone is preposterous.

i'll not tolerate being bullied around and having false accusations thrown at me much longer
18 Aug 17 UTC Autumn, 1902: The accusations are true and there is no bullying going on as you were the aggressor in the situation as I had a force in the North Sea and you asked for me to relocate so you could travel when I noted that you could do the same thing over land and you did not need to attack in the North Sea. If my advancements were too much then you would have attacked Belgium before anything and yet it remains untouched.

This is the last I will touch on this issue as nothing more needs to be said. Germany and Russia need to be dealt with.
