07 Sep 17 UTC gg, at least until the fatal NMR
07 Sep 17 UTC Well, the fact taht Austria and I had to keep dealing with Turkey instead of getting into position sure didn't help much.

Congrats, though, for sure!
07 Sep 17 UTC I confess I feel happy with the result, specially with Austria losing.....
07 Sep 17 UTC Haha! Sorry I would have kept working with you but you were being incredibly and unnecessarily inefficient. It took Turkey doing the noble thing in helping Russia instead of themself in order for us to break through So by then I was too frustrated to move forward lmao
07 Sep 17 UTC You guys are a riot

Rematch?
07 Sep 17 UTC Actually I'm in Minnesota right now, with some pretty dodgy wifi (hence the nmr, so sorry everyone) I don't get back until next week
08 Sep 17 UTC I can wait.
08 Sep 17 UTC I kept harassing you guys until the last possible moment in order to ensure I couldn't be cut out of the draw. You weren't exactly leaving me alone until you absolutely had to.

I must confess I was disappointed with this result. I tried hard to recruit players for this game only for an NMR to be decisive. If I wanted that i could play pickup games.
08 Sep 17 UTC Oh, I'm not entirely sure we'd have pulled it off anyway. Austria needed four fleets, and that wasn't going to happen with a unit stationed in Serbia. You'd have needed to move your fleet west into Ionian while Ionian heads to Naples. As it was, it was a matter of time before France guessed right and got into Tyrrhenian and then Tunis
08 Sep 17 UTC Austria already had the four fleets and the stalmate line before the NMR. My only shot at that point would have been guessing right between Warsaw and Moscow before losing Silesia, since Ukraine could only defend one of them.
08 Sep 17 UTC Shoot, I sure wasn't paying attention I guess. No wonder my GR is sinking like a stone. Sheesh. I think we'd have pulled it off since I was able to annoy you adequately in Livonia.

Humbug.
